Brendan does a good Zombie. 'Twitching horribly towards their inevitable et cetera'. Yes, that seems likely. Why couldn't I dream about lovely Gio or Pasha or Gorka? Maybe the unstoppable, un-killable Brendan stands for that horrible Anastacia thread downstairs that simply will not die...

Oh, well, for me Brendan is really quite prosaic!!
The anxiety thing makes sense. I knew he was dead in my dream but it was his anger about the autopsy that seemed scary. Like the body would take offence.
