I think they gave him pale makeup in a nod to the vampire element of the Twilight song that they were dancing to. So yes, he did look very pale and I think it was intentional. Or that is just what five weeks of Anastacia giving it 150% does to you.

Back on topic: Speaking of vampires, someone needs to introduce Gio to some daylight sharpish. They keep piling the greasepaint on him with a trowel but a spot of fresh air / less nicotine might bring the glow back a bit more effectively.

I think they used an entire bucket of highlighter on Brendan which the lights then reflected off = TERRIFYING REFLECTIVE PALLOR.

As for Gio, he definitely needs to cut out the fags but I have a similar complexion and once the sun goes I start to look like Brendan in that make up 😳

Gleb manages to pour petrol on the bonfire that is the Curse of Strictly story. Not saying that he is trying to stay relevant in the UK and flog tickets to his December show in London.... but it is just so, so unhelpful. (I think these are new Gleb quotes - have not seen them before)

That bit where he says " I was like 'you know, Giovanni, she's a great girl, you should have stayed with her' " makes it sound as though they had a good old heart to heart, when in fact they probably haven't seen each other for months, and he knows no more about the break up than us or anyone else!

If he had said 'She's a great girl - FACT!' I would have put the crown on his head myself. Somewhat forcefully.

A nice big crown like an old fashioned chandelier, effectively pinning his arms to his sides so we can drag him on the end of a rope through (suddenly medieval) streets to be pelted with rotten cabbages and pig shit.

To be fair to Gleb the only quote from him in that article is complimentary to Georgia and doesn't even mention Laura.

I liked him and Anita as a partnership on the show last year and I'm not going to write him off because of a couple of quotes in the celeb mags.
