Regarding the scores tonight and the bottom 2 discussion,
- I hope that the judges spread their paddles around so that there are not so many ties. Darcey, Len and Bruno used 4 scores, at least Craig, bless him, used 6 different paddles.
- I will nervously breathe a sigh of relief if Laura ends up 5 leader board points above Naga/Anastacia/Lesley.
- It feels like two women again under the red lights again this week. BOO! Unless the Judge Rinder bubble bursts.

It really looks as if Gio has choreographed a routine that can achieve a high score if they can perform it well, they have trained really hard and both seem in the right frame of mind. Yes, there always seems to be a convivial thingy going on around Aljaž and Janette. This year it seems that Laura, Gio, Daisy, Neil and often Ore, Jo and Gorka too are part of that happy group. Just going by pics and vids. Good way to relax before the Day itself.

The routine looks really good. My concern is that Oti's choreo is always superbly eye-catching with wonderful bits and bobs the training clips never seem to show, and Danny started the show at an already high level. I'd love Laura and Gio to win the battle of the QSs but... it'd be good to be safely in the top half of the board this week

With 3 of the judges scoring usually between 5 and 9, there will be potential for more ties on the leader board - which can be a risk.

There is also scoring which seems to be influenced by something other than the dancing, but as long as Laura and Giovanni stay in, things will thin out, and the ties will become less likely, or look more obvious.

So far it's looking good - and no bruises!

It is always a bit frustrating when the 'special agenda' judges' voting clunks into view with all the subtlety of Tess Daly delivering a punchline. Just hoping one way or another one of the weaker dancers does leave tonight.

I think that Danny and Oti will have a more crowd-pleasing QS - far better music, probably white tie, AND they have put Gio (apparently) in a black and pink lacy top

not sure that is going to please the crowds in the Lavender household

If Laura can hack a warp-speed QS, then she might well have a good score though so I am staying positive.

Looking forward to seeing them. The dance looked great in practice so I'm hoping it will be brilliant tonight. Keeping my fingers and everything else crossed.

Pleased to see Laura and Gio more prominent up with Claudia. I remember hardly seeing them last week.

They were brilliant! I loved it, thought the marks were very fair.
