What a great samba tune! I was afraid they might get a dodgy disco number (love disco, just not for samba). I think that the pros do get to choose some of the music, when they aren't having themes foisted upon them. I can imagine Gio choosing this one, as well as 'Volare' for Georgia last year. Really looking forward to it and just hope Laura's ankle can cope!!

That's a good samba track Natalie and Artem danced to it, but although it was impeccably danced it had zero impact on me. Hopefully Gio and Laura can put some 'oomph' into it!

Just seen all the other choices- Claudia and AJ have done something to piss off the music fairies, and I hope Louise can do something unexpected with 'Tanguera', because it's my dream AT track (with a properly dramatic ending!) and it'd be a bit of a waste if it just ends up being vaguely nice. Lots of potential for good dances this week!!

Yes dances are now confirmed. Very happy that there is not a Samba-off between the ladies. It did seem a bit odd.

Just watched both of those Sambas

Loved Flavia and Vincent's but I agree with Shaposh, Natalie and Artem's was very good but did nothing for me either.

I am hoping that Laura gets the chance to close the show. Its the right sort of upbeat number - if it has the wow factor in the producers' eyes. I feel very confident around Gio's choreo for this track, the costumes will be fab, they will almost certainly have a straightforward 'party' sort of theme rather than anything with bicycles or fireman's poles. Its all as good as it can be. Feeling positive again.

Vincent and Flavia Samba was great - thanks for posting that one Ochre.

Daisy will surely have a far better VW than Greg, especially with Alijaz leading.

Its going to be a very tricky week for the Bottom 2. Training footage will be interesting. Just hope the judges are marking what they actually see this weekend

Well spotted! I hadn't noticed that even though I went to the tour! (I did recognise the dress Jo wore when she danced with Gio to Seal, as it was worn by Lilia when she did the tango on tour with Austin Healey some years ago. It's good that they get some wear out of these frocks as they aren't cheap!)

Hope Laura gets a fabulous dress for the samba too, although it's to imagine her not looking great in anything. Wardrobe have been very good to her so far.

Though I didn't want a samba off ... I'm even more worried that Daisy has a VW and Laura has a samba Should they come up against each other it'd be tough for Laura. I wonder if she (Laura) already has this in mind.

Totally agree that Saturday will be nail biting. I wonder if the judges and producers will try to flush out one of the weaker men?

Laura can only focus on her own performance and make it as strong as possible. And really try in rehearsal to look like the best pick for the closing number of the show.

They have, can't wait to see Laura's dress . . . her Salsa outfit with the feather boas was almost more suited to Samba. Sure she'll look amazing (and won't be wearing Helen's 'Mummy Samba' sequinned bandages ).

I am also much more confident that Dave Arch's singers will deliver a tuneful, authentic Bamboleo. The caterwauling at the start of Rhythm of the Night Salsa was really off-putting.

Yes both renditions for Natalie and for Flavia & Vincent were fabulous, sure they'll produce the same for Laura & Gio.

I know they've said Jive but those eeeeps are Samba, Laura said they'd been practising before the awards.
