I don't have anything on so I will be glued to the TV hoping to see a great Samba!!
Me too Huph, we were going to a Bonfire but I have poorly children so it's sparklers in the garden, chocs and Strictly . . . Keeping everything crossed for Laura and Daisy, will be voting!

Or if you are off to a Bonfire Party - remember to text vote! Every little bitty vote helps.

A little snippet more from Laura about Ed Balls:

“Ed has as much right to be there as anyone else, it’s a competition after all and people are voting for him. With Ed’s Cha Cha Cha, it’s a very difficult dance but he was so good at it. He can dance and he has got musicality.

“When I came back from the injury, we had to do a group dance, and Ed had to teach me the steps. He’s got a really unusual way of doing it, it’s mathematical.”

Very nice words. The slightly longer interview is here.

Best ITT from Laura and Gio yet. They seem relaxed and natural together now. Samba clip looked much better.

Did Gio say he liked Eels or 'eels?
yes, I enjoyed their interview and have fingers and toes crossed for a great samba

I love Giovanni's accent and the way he says "eeels" and " eeeps"

Yes - it was a good one. I think its a nail-biter tonight so will definitely be vote, vote, voting for Laura and Gio.

I think I am going to give a vote to Daisy too this week - she gave a lot of support to Laura during her injury week.

Time for two of the gentlemen to face the Voice of Doom this week.

Its the Saturday fashion parade from the celebs and dancers leaving Elstree hotel ...

Laura first in the pictures in gym wear, Gio in head to toe black looking suave (very Milan, dahling...).

Scroll down for Katya Jones looking as if she mugged a purple Emu... And Claudia wins smile of the day - she has a really, really infectious and naturally-beautiful smile.

OMG the word salad describing the outfits and bodies just gets more ridiculous and like a mills and boon every week; 'clung to her never ending limbs', 'coiffed his firey lock to one side' 😳

I am quite convinced the journalists (or should I say PR copywriters) are having a quiet giggle as they compose these errrrr highly-informative articles

But Greg coiffing his fiery locks over to one side is the Best Evah phrase

It made me think of Rapunzel... actually its just a bloke with a side-parting.

I usually mix up my voting very week, but all my online votes will be to Laura this week.

I feel if Daisy is in the bottom two, she'd probably survive with her VW against most people (bar Danny and Louise), but I think a samba would be far more difficult to win with.

On another note, I stupidly clicked on a dreaded Daily Fail link yesterday on Laura, and found most of the commenters to be harshly critical of her.

Is she really that awful? People seem to think that if you aren't all lovely and bubbly all the time that you're aloof, arrogant and nasty. Then again, the DM is hardly effusive with praise for most people.

Nina - that is a good point. Alijaz leading a VW is probably the best possible dance to have in the dance off. Samba needs more solo performance effort from Laura - and its faster. Hoping neither Daisy or Laura are there though. I would really, really like to see two men there this week for a change.

The online comments on the DM website about young women in particular are really horrid and quite venomous. If you smile you are smug, if you don't smile you are stuck up.... its a funny world.

I just tell myself its a very small number of people though in the great scheme of things. 10 million people will watch Strictly tonight and either like a dance or, if not, just go and make a cup of tea.

Gio giving a very good 'Len 7' on the BBC Instagram backstage stories tonight. Black sparkly fitted jacket and navy shirt?? Could be a group routine costume.

Beautiful pic of Laura in (a glimpse of ) costume with her god-daughter Ida - and Gio just in shot too.

Dress watch: Ida is wearing Children in Need yellow ears and looks adorable.

Possibly the best picture I have seen of Laura - she looks radiant.

Laura's posted her fluffy slippers and an ice pack on her ankle, hope she's ok! Also looking through the Mick in a Christmas jumper pics, someone give that dog his own knitwear range!

And you can see Laura's costume tonight here in the Children in Need pics

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...d-special.html

Blue skirt with a boa hem, beaded bodice with spaghetti straps. Gio in midnight blue shirt. Both looking very very gawjuss.

Please don't let yourself be distracted by Ore's manly chest.... Alijaz and AJ have both clearly upset wardrobe.

Ed is channelling the fat one from Laurel and Hardy

It's ridiculous, honestly. I've seen plenty of people talk about how arrogant and stuck up she is, but the only justification behind it I've seen is something along the lines of "Oh yeah, I saw her somewhere once and she looks at people funny/looks right through people".

That's really the best reasoning you can conjure up to support your bile? Bleh. Lol.

I'm not going to give any votes to Daisy. It's time to get tough and Laura will need all the votes I can give her so I can't afford to be generous to anyone else. It might be that Laura doesn't need the votes but I'm not taking any chances.

That's my thinking too. Love both the girls, but push comes to shove my votes go to Laura.

As mentioned, I think Daisy would be alright in a DO with a VW anyway.

I don't waste my time reading the comments under the articles any more. They treat all celebs the same I think - they are nasty about everybody!

Oh the purple prose in that daily mail CIN article is on top form too! I swear it must be bored writers having a competition as to who can sound the most ridiculous.

As for people who comment on the daily mail, they are a warning to us all.
