Good morning all

I am starting my shopping today. Going to OS with my friends, will be a nightmare, but we can cover variety of stores. Will miss Strictly and record and watch it, not enjoying
it now. I have done a few things online, still much more to get.

Thanks for my gifts Ochre. I haven't received your list yet??. I hope the Sheperd and
Sheep were the stars of the night and made Ochres really proud.

I managed to get most of the shopping done. A few of us always do this together.
Had fun, but it was hard with so many people.

I just watched last night's show, less said the better. I just wanted to know, whether Louise did a ' Giovanni Tango special'??. The shoulder thing, I thought Laura's was much better. Sorry Ochre.

Morning Glad you enjoyed shopping Sarah, I was going to put Strictly DVDs and Annuals on my list to keep me going during the off season which is nearly here I'll have withdrawal symptoms, going to make the most of tonight, the Final and Christmas Special.

I loved Louise's Tango, so impressed with the content she danced and her technique. Just wish they'd had more traditional music to create the right atmosphere as they did for their AT. Really enjoyed Louise's Samba too, I don't think she gets enough credit on here for both her technique and performance and the wonderful partnership she has with Kevin. Deserved her marks.

Ore and Jo were my absolute favourites of the night. Blown away by both their Quickstep and AT and my woman crush on Jo is even bigger now She's just an incredible dancer, choreographer, teacher and partner to Ore and soooo sexy in that AT.

Awesome to see Jill in the audience, had to go back and watch some of her dances. Nearly time to see two more of my favourite Strictly ladies Laura and Daisy again whoooooop

I noticed the shoulder movement Louise did and thought of Laura when she did it.

To be honest I really did not enjoy the show last night but best keep it my thoughts to myself. Not even sure if I will watch the final

I loved the detail of Laura's shoulder movement during the Spanish Drag in their Tango too as I posted at the time. It's a common piece of choreo though, Giovanni didn't invent it and Kevin doesn't need to copy his choreo for what was Kevin's fourth Semi Final Thought Laura and Louise both performed it well, as I say it's a little detail I find effective.

A friend of mine who moved to NZ is coming home for X'mas and will stay with me for a week and then go up to Norfolk to her family. She arrives on Saturday, so I am going to record and watch. Don't want to watch and be in a bad mood. I am sure I will know the result, but don't have to watch the dances. I used to love Strictly, sadly not anymore. Lou also has lost interest.

I also loved Strictly but just totally fed up with it this year. I wondered where Lou was

I had never seen that move before Laura did it. Not that I am an expert on the Tango

Awww that's a shame if so! I always remain invested, I love the show itself and the dancing so much whoever's left in and I do think both Louise and Ore are incredible dancers and lovely, warm personalities as our lovely Laura is too. I wonder which of her mates she's secretly supporting, she did say Ore if he makes the Final so she can pretend she was second

And I'm Team Clifton tonight, rooting for Kevin and Jo

All four Semi Finalists were amazing and whoever makes it the Final has the potential to be the strongest competition in a few years I think.

Sorry Ochre I don't think they were all amazing last night. IMO:
Louise's samba was bad
Danny's salsa was okay
Claudia's rumba meh

And I won't go into what I think of Ore.

Hi Huph Honestly I thought Louise's Samba, in terms of technique and her performance was the best female Samba this series. I loved the music, the party feel, Kevin's choreo and the way they looked like they were really dancing together and having a great time on the floor.
