I've been watching since series one but tonight's introducing program felt wrong.

The new pro's not only seem VERY young but full of them selves ( I'm sorry I don't know her name), but the new female, blonde dancer was very aware of when she was on camera.

I'm all for building new talent but I didn't get any warmth from the new intake tonight.

That's surely a bit unfair you really can't tell already.

It takes time to get to know newbies, I remember not being keen on Nat at all but now she is my fave female pro!

Watching It Takes Two helps as well to get to know them quicker than just watching the weekly show

Who could possibly replace Kristina and Iveta.

I didn't like Natalie when she first started on this show but now she's my favorite female pro now that all my favorites left. Oti is also my favorite.

Give it time. It's also pretty harsh I think to judge them just now. ...try to get to know them.

I am familiar with Oksana because I follow dancing with the stars pros so I've known her for years. She's really a sweetheart. .. like she's so nice, just a sweetie. I suspect tonight might have just been an " act " but that's not always how she's.

I know it's a bit of a wacky, "off-the-wall" concept... but why not actually wait and see them teach and perform with their dance partners before writing them all off?

I will give them all time but from first impressions, I'm not sure about Neil & Katya - I don't like his dancing style and I felt no warmth from her.

Gorka is an absolute hunk and looks like a fantastic dancer. I feel the same way about him as I did about Giovanni last year.

Oksana was wary of the camera but I think nerves may have been kicking in a bit - she will calm down as time goes on.

As Claudia says, AJ looks about 11.5 but is a really good dancer and being with Claudia will give them an instant angle as "the young'uns".

I didn't see enough of Chloe tonight to make a real judgement.

So all in all, not bad first impressions....

Oksana is an absolute sweetheart, I've followed her career a few years, and she's great.

I'm going to give the new pros time before making any judgments, it takes a bit time to settle into the show.

I got the same vibe from Gorka

Oksana came across incredibly sweet. As did AJ.

Katya I completely forgot about amongst the pros! Neil seems a bit full of himself but that could be him making his mark on the screen at last.

Gorka does remind me of Artem and Giovanni

Neil hasn't been paired with anyone which is a shame for me at least as I wanted to see how he'd fare with a celeb.

I love all the new pros especially AJ and Gorka. This is the best set of new pros for a while

"very aware of when she was on camera" sounds meaningless, and a proxy for the real accusation. It entitles you to say that you "don't like" someone.
I've never seen men trying to read other people's minds off the back of so little.

New pros always seem a bit unfamiliar at first but I think t's a little early for the OP to make judgements.

I really like them all, they are a breath of fresh air to the show, a very welcome addition. In fact I think this years professional line up is brilliant, I think we'll see some very exciting innovative dancing this year.

We have got some fabulous pros in the UK and I think it's good that the BBC have signed then up this year rather than using more 'imports'

Yes, wait and see ... your opinion might change. We've got used to seeing (more or less) the same pros year in year out. It's sad to see familiar faces go but that's life and of course, the newbies will be a bit OTT. The focus is on them and there's no point in them trying to fade into the background. Time will tell.

They didn't make a big impression on me but one of the things I love about Strictly is how we get to know everyone over the weeks, celebs and pros alike, and to root for people we didn't initially think we'd like. I'm still sulking that there's no Trent, though - I thought his choreography was astonishing.

Must admit I didn't much take to Neil and his partner. I remember Neil from last year's pro dances and I am not a fan of his style of dancing. Jury is still out on Katya but she didn't come across too well on first showing. Oksana seems to be doing the 'Ola' thing and Chloe was nowhere to be seen really. Gorka is a treat and the schoolboy could turn out to be fun - who knows?
