Hudl2 in my opinion. Although it's bit heavier.

This forum is full of people saying their Hudl has broken. If you get one off eBay you will have no warranty. I haven't used the Acer, but it looks like a very cheap device. If you're going cheap you might as well get the Amazon Fire.

Hi - just tried to edit last post but cant. There's the Acer iconia b1-850 8inch tablet on sale but you can also get hudl2 on eBay but now seen the Asus zenpad z380m. Which would be better to go for pls spec wise? Need it for internet / email / reading scripts for presentations etc. Thx Pete
There don't seem to be many UK reviews of the zenpad z380m. There are a huge numbers of tablets at the £100-130 price range.

Consider the Lenovo Tab 3 8" for £89.99 new (Argos) with full 12month guarantee. (Also available in black)

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/5440634.htm

For this kind of price they are all very similar and not amazingly high powered, but this one seems good for the money.

Quad core and front mounted speakers.

Specifications:

1GHz Quad-Core Processor mt8161p quad core processor.
2GB RAM.
16 GB internal storage.
64 GB memory card capacity.
Android 6 operating system.

Just putting a point for the other side, my hudl2 which I had on day of release is still working fine

I personally wouldn't have an Amazon fire unless you are willing to buy into the Amazon ecosystem. Too many apps not available in amazon store also.

Hi - first of all, may thanks to all of you for your help - I really appreciate it all!
To Tassium - I agree with you about the Hudl2 but then........ thx to Stig cos I have heard of some having probs with H2 and yes you are correct re. the lack of warranty. Then thx once more to Tassium - I had not spotted the Lenovo and I think I will go for that - the 2gb swung it.
Thx again Pete
