Love how there was a Multiplayer "Reveal" trailer, as if the multiplayer is anything other than what everyone is expecting, that being the exact same Multiplayer experience from CoD4, just *possibly* watered down, as I don't imagine Old School mode and such will be making a return due to the numerous "get out of map" glitches that led to, but at the same time they haven't ruled it out yet so I guess it's all possible.
Either way, looking forward to it, you just know of all the FPS' coming this year, it'll be CoD4 that sells the most if they do decide to make it a stand alone untethered to Infinite Warfare (which they will) |

It will still be 10 maps at launch with the rest a December free dlc as they are not ready yet. At least thats what they are saying, likely it was a paid dlc but they badly need good PR so changed their minds.
No tac mask and everybody having tacticals will be annoying as most people dont run them in the newer cods. |

Will be buying physical and trading in Infinite Warfare so don't mind paying around £40 for a classic game with better graphics, no hacks and no host ended game messages!

Amos Wendell Hodge @wendellwobble (Lead Designer @RavenSoftware) just tweeted
"#MWRemastered 10 launch maps: Ambush, Backlot, Bog, Crash, Crossfire, District, Downpour, Overgrown, Shipment, Vacant" So happy Shipment is included in the first 10 available maps to play! |

I've got no interested in the new Call Of Duty game, but if I could buy Modern Warfare separately I would, have fond memorise playing this online.
No doubt in the future you'll be able to buy this on it's own, so I will wait. |

I'll get it if/when it's available as a standalone or, if it's a downloadable code, can get one for around £25

Shame we won't have Showdown and Pipeline right from the off, those are 2 of my favourites. Also a bit of a bummer that the *actual* CoD4 DLC maps won't be available at all given Chinatown and Broadcast became something of fan favourites and I'm fairly sure Creek to this day is one of CoD's biggest maps, |

So the 6 DLC maps are Showdown. Pipeline, Strike, Bloc, Countdown and Wet Work?

You may want to check before buying that MWR isn't tethered to to the disc to play. Like how if you upgraded ghosts from ps3 to ps4 for a tenner you still need the ps3 disc to activate it.

Pretty sure it'll be tethered.
I like the initial 10 - surprised that Strike isn't in the first wave though, it's always been one of the more popular maps. I'd probably have preferred Wet Work to Vacant as well, but they'll be there soon enough either way. At least we have a temporary reprieve from Bloc! The remaining 4 maps - wouldn't surprise me if they're tied to the IW dlc - perhaps one MW map in each IW dlc pack? Not overly bothered about Killhouse as I never actually played it in the original game, but Broadcast, Chinatown and Creek would be a miss. |

^^^ also to add they are releasing the campaign a month before Infinite Warfare release so hopefully this means them not requiring you to have the disc when MP releases. They have nothing to gain once you have bought the game, they have their money off you.
Not interested in Infinite Warfare at all. |

Not interested in Infinite Warfare at all. How, or if, it's tethered will probably answer the question of whether or not the game will finally see a standalone release further down the line. |

It will more than likely come out as a standalone game early 2017. They are only releasing it in the legacy edition of Infinite Warfare as Activision know sales for that game would be pitiful without MW Remastered bundled with it especially with BF1 looking so good.
Regarding tethered or not, the only time they did this was during Ghosts and that was for the Digital upgrade program. Just reading up on it throughout there were disclaimers throughout saying "PS3™ game disc required to play digital version of the game on your PS4™ system." Surely the Activision website would have said something similar by now. All we have to go by is their FAQ saying "4. Will Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered come as a separate disc? No, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is a full game digital download that will be included in the Legacy, Legacy Pro, and Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Internet connection required." https://support.activision.com/artic...Remastered-FAQ No way am I buying a game I don't want just to play MWR without being able to trade it in. Hopefully we'll get some sort of confirmation soon. |

I think the thing working in favour of it not being tethered is how coy Activision and IW have both been around that question.
Seriously I'm hoping that it won't be as if that's the case then it'll be hitting CEX very quickly. I have absolutely zero interest in playing what looks like another pitiful release. |

I don't care if it is £70 and tethered to a brick, it looks the absolute dogs bollocks conversion wise and i'll never need another COD game again. I'm buying COD4 and getting a crap space shooter free.

If we're talking value for money I played the original, solid, for 4/5 hours a day for 3/4 years. I doubt I'll put in that kind of time again, but it'll still be significant, and £70 will be nothing compared to the hundreds of hours of gameplay I'll get. |

Really hope they listen to fan feedback and make changes to the version shown at CODXP especially
- Medals need removing/made smaller/higher on the screen or an option to switch off completely - Announcer and gun sounds need to be identical to the original rather than use AW - Killfeed, headshot icons and headshot sound should be the same as the original - The look of the deagle needs to be identical to the original deagle They just need to keep it simple with prettier graphics. They have nailed the gameplay and gun performance by keeping that true to the original. Might be an idea to force game chat (with the option to mute of course) as the banter in some lobbies made the original really enjoyable. |

From the played footage I've seen I don't like the changed lighting or voices, but what really worried me was that the gameplay looked slightly faster than the original - it was fast enough for the size of the maps, however things have changed in the sequels. Quote:
