Hmm... bet he's not going to be so eager to get his fizzog on our tv screens in next few days. He usually relishes a good scandal so he can get his two penny worth in.

His links to Janner a fellow Leicester MP are being raised. Reckon he was chief supporter in Commons when allegations made in early 90's. No idea of the validity of these accusations.
He's over looking this. So was it a set up by him or was he set up? Know doubt this will run and run this week.

Well, Ted Heath used rent boys and it didn't stop him becoming PM.
But I do have a problem with the poppers though as it puts him in a conflict of interest
Nicely timed for the end of "the silly season" of August and the start of the new sitting of Parliament this week.
He was obviously engaged in doing background research for the Home Affairs Select Committee - if only all of our MPs were as diligent as he.

Even if it was, how does that relate to the Janner issue? Or is it that there is a link In Aurora13's mind and they want everyone to make the same inferences that they do?

We don't know for sure there's a link but it's something that needs investigating along with other possible links.

Because he's paid for gay sex ? Is any gay or bisexual man therefore a link that needs investigating , closeted or otherwise ?
It's a scandal that will hugely damage if not destroy his career , paying for sex and the apparent link to cocaine even if it's seemingly not present would clearly take something to recover from . obviously you'd assume it'd be a shock to his family although that's as I say obviously assumption .
I don't know whether 'rent boys' has confused the issue but these are obviously adult men and that certainly doesn't make him a paedophile or even make him suspect in my opinion . Just as Sleeping with female prostitutes wouldn't make him a paedophile either , it seems an odd leap to make .

I used the term "rent boys" in connection with Ted Heath, I made no connection to Keith Vaz
In my view politics has no place in people's bedrooms.
But the poppers .......... Are poppers actually illegal? I googled it but the result I got was unclear.

No, they were excluded from the legal highs ban. Buying cocaine on the other hand, is illegal.

John Profumo wasn't sacked because he was playing around with prostitutes but that his activities could have compromised British security.
