As I have an open marriage and my wife and i both have other sexual partners, normally things like this don't bother me, but because Keith Vaz sets him self up as some sort of guardian of values it is very hypocritical of him and I hope he is subject to the same sort of tough questioning that he gives others.

Ah, the big, nasty mainstream media again.

Although he has been engaged in such activities of his own free will rather than coerced into doing something by the media, it's simply the media that have found him out.

This is the central issue here.

His washing machines are industrial size...

He could front a new 'wash your dirty linen in public' roadshow for Daz

These things are never legal issues. He will stand down from committee because thats what people do, but will remain mp.

Well, according to the Independent, he's been known as Teflon Man, so his dirty laundry shouldn't need much detergent

So anyway... is he gay? Or bi-curious?

Sad for his wife who must be shocked by the revelation

An MP with male prostitutes? I can't believe that.

Anyway, no wonder he is such a big advocate for remaining in the EU. All those Nice young Eastern European men.

She probably knows and is happy with the deal as long as she gets a big washing machine out of it.

It just surprised me this was a Daily Mirror story

Seems like there may be more serious matters to come out...

Just to clarify, the words I hoped never to see together were "Keith Vaz Sex Scandal."

Because it is hard to stop a mental image forming ...

I was just going to post that. The guy who outed Saville on TV is saying much more to come. In fact Telegraph / Guardian ran stories in 2015 linking Vaz to Janner.

Looks to me that Mirror has got fed up sitting on story whilst police investigate so have done a bit of digging to get 'a' story out in open. The known police activity probably explains BBC/SKY reticence to run big with story until they checked.

I wonder what the guy he won the seat from in 1987, Peter Bruinvels, thinks about it.

It got about 40 seconds on the Marr show. Basically "isn't it terrible for the family". Then quickly on to Ed Balls on Strictly. Who says the BBC isn't pro labour?

Hurray I never trusted him.

Although

"Mr Vaz has not resigned completely but temporarily as he speaks to his lawyer and other members of the committee."

They always try to hang on, shameless.

What amazes me about this sort of revelation is not that M.P. s behave badly but that they seem to think that they can carry on doing it with no one finding out.

Vaz's constituency has one of the highest Asian populations of any constituency. How will they react to the revelations?

I'm not sure he is, particularly. He did not nominate Corbyn in 2015, when Corbyn was desperate for support.

I imagine the Mail et al will try to dredge up and exaggerate every possible linkage between them, of course.
