I agree, I think it will be a good dance for her. It looked good in training earlier in the week. Her gymnastic background will help in this dance, having strong core, she will make good shapes and strong lines etc.

Claudia looked fantastic!! Didn't actually see the dance as I'll have to catch up tomorrow but caught the comments and scores! I was really expecting 1 ten at least and well done for them doing an Argentine tango last and then having to cha cha cha almost straight away! I was hoping they would end up above Ore on the leaderboard!! Really hope they make it!! Just voted several times!!

Well I thought she nailed that routine. I'm not sure what she has to do to get a 10 considering the judges have been handing them out like sweets this series. I have to say though I wasn't a fan of the song arrangement and I thought the vocal was pretty weak too and slightly distracted from the dance. Nothing wrong with anything Claudia or AJ did though. I also feel they should have finished above Ore in the Cha Cha Challenge. Worried for them with where they placed on the leader board. The danger zone yet again

Voted for them tonight but I think AJ should stop dragging Claudia so fast she can't make her steps.

Loved that AT and i think it was so undermarked and luckily so did a lot of others so hopefully she'll be kept out of the bottom two! Loved that she was wearing something different and the theming was more mature. You could tell they were a bit annoyed about that same 36 again but at least WHEN they get a 10 it will have been worth waiting for!

It's quite interesting reading the fallout on the MF tonight with most people arguing she was under-marked (how things can change in a week ). She was also second in the favourites poll when I last looked, so there's possibly some hope she can avoid the DO.

It deserved 10s, why do they always undermark her?? Out of all the ATs that have been done this year, Claudia's routine has been my favourite.

I thought the whole routine was absolutely exceptional, by far the best dance of the night for me, in fact I can't recall seeing a better Argentine Tango than that on Strictly before (though I must say I haven't watched every series!). How they didn't get 10s is beyond me - Craig was the only one to give any justification for not giving a 10, even if I didn't understand his justification!

Agree, undermarked again I loved the AT, not the best ever on Scd in my opinion but very very good.

At last they treated Claudia as a woman rather then a 12 year old. I thought it was a very good AT.

I went straight to MF and YT after reading your post to see what others were saying. And yes. Wow. How things do change in people's comments.

I have just 3 words for this AT.

I LOVED IT...!!!!!!

ETA way under-marked though

I don't know what they have to do to get a ten!! Other than the jive they are consistently undermarked I think!

Yes, I agree. Let's hope they do another fantastic dance next week if they are still in of course and then maybe they will get a 10 but I won't hold my breath.

Yes, the scoring has been quite shambolic this series

Just watched the show and the scores were bizarre given the comments and to say she has grown and then give her the same scores as last week is weird.

Given how Darcey and Bruno bigged it up (and Len) I was expecting at least one 10 for them.

However it was a fantastic dance and I think it has helped them get more fans

I think you're right. I was really happy to see all the support they were getting on the MF last night. Maybe the judges have done them a favour this week

Just have to say I've been re-watching their AT today and it gets better with each viewing. Total goosebumps and I think my favourite dance of their's so far.

I agree, definitely deserved a higher score, was just so impressive.

Thanks to Claudia Winkleman for asking the question so forcibly on Len's Lens. And she said she was asking all 4 judges on behalf of planet earth.!!! To which the audience clapped and cheered.

What exactly do they have to do to get a ten?.

The answer trotted out was they need to get the mood of the dance and the judges need to see that from the two of them. (This from Darcy who commented that she saw that "last night" just before marking them down on 9)
I give up.

Excellent they're through.

Darcy's answer to Claudia's question was rubbish IMO and if that was the case should've critiqued her that way rather than going OTT about how great it was to undermarking her.

Fingers crossed for a good dance next week and good music

Yay so happy, great to see them so pleased to be safely through Really looking forward to next week and hoping for some 10s, what are your predictions on her dance? I'm thinking/hoping for a quickstep.

It was indeed rubbish and most will have seen through it I feel. Well done to them for getting through.

She was so disappointed not to get a 10. Never mind, onwards and upwards, a good dance and good music is needed next week.

Yes so pleased that are through!! Looking forwards to seeing what they are dancing next week!
