Hi everyone!
Long-time lurker of this forum but finally signed up the other day! Big fan of Claudia and was so glad she finally got a much-deserved 10! Really hope she gets through next week. Think she could do a really good Q/S and rumba (previous gymnasts on DWTS have done really well at it e.g. lines, balance, fluidity etc.) so hopefully she gets through! .

So good to see new people here
Hope she gets a really traditional quickstep, I think it could be really good and hopefully a crowd pleaser - she really needs the votes as I don't know whether the judges would save her over any of the others :///

I'm pleased at their two dances they;ve got actually....
Thinking about it now; the rumba could be a great dance for Claudia as she will have to create shapes with her body etc which she should be able to do from a gymnastic point of view which could be stunning to watch. She just needs to nail the hip action - which given her work on the salsa last week seems that she can do. And the QS should be good - yes height may be an issue, but I can see the footwork being clean and the pace being fast which should prove to be impressive. Hopefully she can swerve the dance off this week and go straight to the final - but we shall see

I agree Lucy. The music will be key this week. Would love something classic for their QS. Something akin to Danny's would be nice. Still worried about the rumba. Don't doubt she'll have the technique but it's a low profile dance. Hope AJ isn't tempted to stick any lifts in. He's been very good with that so far but the pressure of trying to stand out might tempt him.
And welcome to the new posters ![]() I think a lot of the anti-Claudia people are Danny fans, who has the advantage of Oti who is terrific. People accused Claudia of always being in the air which isn't true and in the AT she had to move in the air constantly. |

And welcome to the new posters ![]() I can't imagine them being given those costumes without fairly traditional music. Quote:
Claudia's coaches must get nervous watching those lifts to....especially that last one...She has great body control and but he is more uncertain, but she can not afford an injury.

Not that I expected AJ, an excellent ballroom and latin dancer, would have any problems. He can after all lift Chloe, a much taller partner than Claudia. |

AJ said in his interview he and Claudia have traditional ballroom costumes. He even mentioned tails which he seemed extremely happy about.
I can't imagine them being given those costumes without fairly traditional music. BIB Well there will be nothing for them to worry about in the semi final as there are no lifts allowed in either of their dances. Not that I expected AJ, an excellent ballroom and latin dancer, would have any problems. He can after all lift Chloe, a much taller partner than Claudia. My favourite dance of theirs are The Viennese Waltz and The Charleston. |

That last lift in the Salsa was not that smooth, he nearly dropped her, her coaches must have had a moment....Her body control and sense of gravity helps.

Not too sure on Bleeding Love for a rumba... but lets be honest the majority of their songs have been crap all series so I'm sure they'll do excellently regardless

![]() https://youtu.be/bdVZnz9dU54 I thought this DWTS showing an example of Bleeding Love for a rumba gives a fair idea of how the music can be used, although of course it is Cody who is the celeb. But it is interesting to see the choreo Julianne put together. |

Liking the song choices, I'm excited to finally see them do a dance very traditionally and think it's a great rumba song to get that chemistry the judges want. Liked their interview on This Morning that's also on YouTube

Isn't Rumba a fast dance, so why are they getting a fairly slow song?

It needs to be very controlled and to that end should play to Claudia's strengths. |

Yes so happy with their quickstep song this week! It's about time they were given proper music! Think their rumba song could be good as well!! I think it could be a very strong semi final I have no idea what's going to happen!!
Also an Argentine tango to can't get you out of my head?? ![]() I'm a fan of Louise but I really do hope for a Louise v Ore dance off as I'm sure she will be saved whereas I'm not so sure Claudia would be!! |

And I agree. I think we have to hope Claudia gets voted through otherwise she likely won't be saved in the D/O. |

[QUOdTE=hannah 01.;84815550]Rumba is a slow dance. It can be the slowest of all the 10 dances and for that reason is seen as one of the hardest to dance due to how exposed it can leave a celeb.
It needs to be very controlled and to that end should play to Claudia's strengths.[/quote] Haven't posted on this thread before, and I agree with you Hannah, have followed C & AJ from the start, and think they have been a breath of fresh air,on the show.i think she could do well with the Rhumba and Quickstep on Saturday, I hope the judges give them the marks they deserve if so. I would love to see them in the final, I think their show dance could be amazing. AJ is our local boy, and lives not far from us,so i am so pleased they seem to be well supported. Locally the press seem to be supporting them well, thought they did a good interview on this morning ,Definitely will have everything crossed on Saturday. |

Not spoken for a while as I haven't been posting much on our lad from last year AT. Still lurk though😄 I'm glad AJ and Claudia are getting good support and I would like their marks to reflect the fact AJ has taught Claudia great technique. We know who loves teknik teknik teknik😉 |

Think they've got two good songs this week. Not familiar with the Q/S song but had a listen and it's pretty upbeat and fast so hopefully they'll do well with that.
Think 'Bleeding Love' is quite an emotive song and a good choice for a rumba. Really could see Claudia doing well at the rumba e.g. Lines, fluidity, balance etc. Really hope they get through to the final. Do you guys reckon they'd be saved in the D/O? |

I'm not hopeful but you never know! It would be much better if we didn't have to find out
![]() I think they are all a lot closer than say a couple of weeks ago Claudia and Aj seem to be getting much better at the right time so anything can happen on Saturday in my opinion! But as gaga said it would be much better if we didn't have to find out

JR fan here.. Will be voting Claudia this week. She's danced superbly well the past couple of weeks and deserves a place in the final. Think she's got a good draw with the music choices. A modern song will appeal to the young ones and a traditonal song to the oldies (like me). Fingers crossed. Imagine her showdance
