So gutted for them Don't think the result was fair and the wrong two in the bottom two anyway, pretty sure the judges knew the result before either couple danced.

Totally agree. We all knew they'd save Danny even without looking at the spoiler. He will be getting my votes now. Have to say my heart's not really in the final anymore though.

I'm just popping in as a Danny fan to say I thought your girl was amazing and the two in the dance off (IMHO) were the two dancers on the night who shouldn't have been.
I'm not particularly into watching gymnastics...but I'm going to be watching out for Claudia now and I think her routines will be amazing with her new found confidence and dancing ability, thanks to AJ and Strictly.
I'm sorry she's gone.

Very very sorry to see Claudia and AJ go, both absolutely lovely people who, without question, deserved to be in the final + to win it!

Their Quickstep, IMO, was both considerably more technically difficult and danced better than Danny's American Smooth in the dance off, so they should've been saved in the dance off. However, I can't say I'm surprised they weren't, the judges have undermarked them for the entire series and this as the final insult so to speak!

But, not to leave it on a negative note, they can both be extremely proud of what they have achieved this series - delivering truly amazing dances. If I was forced to pick my three favourites (tough to choose) but it would probably be their Salsa, Argentine Tango and Quickstep!

There were tears in our household at the end there! The last time I found myself weepy over Strictly was when Rachel Stevens didn't win, and that was a long time ago

Usually before the start of a Strictly series I pick my favourite and they remain my favourite until the end/they're knocked out. But this year, I had no idea who Claudia (or AJ for that matter) was and it wasn't until around week 5 (their Samba) that I decided they were my favourites. They'd already done that Bugsy Malone Charleston and then their Halloween American Smooth came a week later, which was fabulous

There was a little bump with Blackpool, but since then I think they've been nothing but terrific with the Argentine Tango, their Lion King Salsa and last night. I truly thought they could win it, but alas it wasn't meant to be.

It will certainly be a duller final without them and I do think we missed out on a fantastic showdance Oh well. Just in case either of them happen to be reading this post () I want to say thank you to both of them - their dancing has, in a funny way, helped me through a tough and stressful time in my life

Here's to the Pocket Rockets!

As a Danny and Oti fan I just wanted to say how gutted I am that Danny and Claudia were in the dance-off. Both couples deserved 40 for their American Smooth and Quickstep dances. Both were brilliant and both deserve to be in the final. ❤️

Can totally relate to this Stuart. Isn't it funny how a couple minutes worth of dancing can make things go away for a while? I'll really miss them and like you feel like I should say a huge thank you for the joy they brought to Strictly this year.

I'm so gutted for them a great partnership and Aj was a wonderful teacher. Claudia has been amazing and improved so much. I hope AJ come back next year and good luck to Claudia in her gymnastics comps.

I think that final Quickstep embodies their time on the show - always smiling and upbeat, never sad (I don't think she cried until tonight!) A joy to watch from beginning to end

Really gutted that they went out. Thought they delivered some spectacular routines and that QS was one of the best dances I can remember for a long time!

Will definitely follow Claudia's gymnastics career and AJ has done so well getting her to the final!

yes, I agree, their quickstep was one of the best I've seen on Strictly and I've been watching since series 1 (and AJ looked so smart in his tail suit) - they've done really well to get to the semi final, it's such a shame they won't be in the final

Maybe they SHOULD have cried more. iT SEEMS THE THING TO DO THIS YEAR, ITS WHAT GETS YOU TO FINALS APPARENTLY.

Just also to say that I voted for Ed before, switched to claudia last 2 weeks and seriously believe had she had the marks last night that she SHOULD have had (no good saying she would have had a ten tonight, craig, MUCH too late!) she would have had the positive viewer impact that sadly went undeservedly to ore. That as much as anything is to blame for their exit.

They were amazing this weekend i'm so annoyed with the judges they knew who they wanted in the final and marked so that would happen. Claudia wanted so much to get to the final so she could dance another week. She was stunning and AJ.

I feel this owns a place on here, someone said set it up as they felt she couldn't of been saved. I know cos of her being under marked I couldn't get through.

Petition to bring back Claudia after that fix of a result
I have to say that the judges should be ashamed of themselves this weekend. Over marking Ore who clearly slipped during his Argentine Tango and then under marking Claudia for that amazing Quickstep. Also, the unanimous decision to give Claudia the boot after she clearly danced better than Danny in the DO.

I saw this petition online and normally I wouldn't even entertain the idea of signing one of these but I'm just so annoyed at tonights result and this petition actually makes some great valid points.

Well you took the words out of my mouth - I too cried when Rachel lost out, and have supported Claudia from week two - the footwork in the waltz convinced me she was going to be superb.

AJ and Claudia - a lovely partnership that worked so well. That Quickstep was joyous - beautiful top line and footwork in her ballroom dances are what I will always remember about Claudia

She will have got so much out of this experience. Getting the opportunity to experience life outside gymnastics and having a little more independence will have helped her mature and grow so much. Training for and competing in the Olympics will have been an unimaginable pressure for her, SCD will have been a good opportunity for her to decompress and have a bit of fun before throwing herself entirely back into gymnastics. She's awesome and has a briught future ahead of her.

Just dropping into your thread to say how gutted I was that Claudia and AJ left tonight. I knew the result last night and decided not to watch the results show as my blood pressure would have gone through the roof. The judges were awful and there is no way Ore should have been top of the leaderboard
