I'd seen potential in how Claudia could move her hips.

I am certainly enjoying their dances.
The samba was a tad speedy for a non dancer but she coped really very well. I am looking forward to her American Smooth and the lifts that AJ choreographs. These really must play to her strengths. Come on AJ let's have a beautifully choreographed routine that will show wee Claudia's strengths. |

I very much liked AJs ambition in the choreography for this dance, it certainly was fast (after watching GGs Samba last year, I've discovered I like fast sambas!
) - at times it probably was a bit fast for her, but she actually did very well to keep up the way she did.Should they get to the final, I'd like to see them give the Samba another shot as I think it would be spectacular if done perfectly! |

Thanks for the welcome gaga! I hope these two go far! And yes they remind me a little of GG too!
If Claudia and aj were to get to the final I reckon she would smash her samba!! |

I remember drooling over GG's samba with you last year Brian! In many ways these two remind me a lot of Team GG in their youthful innocence ![]() Claudia and AJ are an extremely likable partnership! |

I remember too! Yes they remind me a bit of GG too - let's hope that they follow a similar trajectory as GG and get to the final! Plus I remember it was week 6 (Halloween) when GG really took off in terms of judges scores, so let's hope they can follow that trajectory too!

I always look forward to their dances every week and looking forward to their American smooth 😀 She does beautiful heel turns and that is this early in the competition. Therefore AJ is teaching well. And no matter what Craig says she does not extend too much. Well those are my thoughts anyway. I am appreciating this couple and they are unfortunately going under the radar I think |

I'd be happy for these two to stay under the radar for a week or two more
. Let the boys slug it out for judges' fave while Claudia and AJ stay smiley and positive, quietly improve each week and time their run perfectly. I don't think AJ has got everything exactly right, but he's learning along with Claudia - and she's improved enormously, so he's clearly teaching her well.

Good point fridgesoup. Tbh, when I think outside of Ore and Danny I can't see anyone else other than Claudia challenging them at this point. I really do think they have an endearing partnership that the public are going to warm to more the longer they're in. I know I'm biased though

"Claudia and AJ will be dancing the American Smooth to ‘Black Magic’ by Little Mix"
Tbh I was hoping for something a bit more classic for the music choice but I think these pop-themed songs might be a theme with these two given the "young" tag they have. Should still work for them though. Fingers crossed!

Yeah I think the song can work and seem that its contemporary songs all the way for these too - might not be a bad thing though

![]() You could be well right , I have watched her start the dance on Saturday 10 times ,she seems well up for the fun and enjoyment for the dance , i keep looking and i suppose what is disappointing they seem to have a teacher and master relationship in their dancing, where they should be acting as a couple, Not sure, is it his choreography or her just acquiescing to his dominance |

Keep on growing and learning Claudia (and AJ) and keep out of the bottom two. They need to be above the middle of the judges leader board to hopefully keep out if that danger zone . |

I liked her from the beginning, but Claudia is now comfortably installed in my top 3 this year!
I was really impressed with her samba. Some of it looked rushed, of course - but it seemed packed with content. I loved her figure-8 rotation on the judges' table too, she's a natural dancer. |
