I haven't posted in this thread before, but just dropped by to say how much I enjoyed Claudia and AJ's dance this evening. Their position on the leader board was well deserved.

Yes I think you're right. Even though they're top of the leader board I couldn't bring myself to throw a vote anyone else's way as you just never know.

I have to say I was totally enamoured of Claudia and AJ this evening. An excellent dance well performed.

That girl can actually do the correct steps without falling. Heel turns, three steps and beautiful lifts.

As you say well deserved position at the top of the leader board.

I really loved their AS tonight- for the same reason that Len mentioned- the lifts were beautifully integrated rather than tacked on for wow-factor. And she looked beautifully soft and elegant for the first time, rather than just technically precise.
Nice to see her in a lovely old-school full frou-frou skirt too rather than making her look like a child.

Good dance should have been in front on their own for me. AJ learnt well from last week about content.

So I've just watched and thought it was great - they pairing/ relationship seems to have come into its own and Claudia seemed alot more confident and just more natural.

Definitely their best dance up there with the Charleston.

Just wanted to pop in to say that I think AJ and Claudia have been done a disservice, with the unsuitable choices of music chosen for them over the past weeks, making it very difficult for them to reach their full potential with a dance.

There are so many great choices of music for an Amercian Smooth it was such a shame that yet again they were given such a poor choice of song. The fact they performed so brilliantly depite this, is a credit to both of them!

I do hope she will manage with the differences in the two styles of training she is going to be undertaking.
Dancing and gymnastics. The latter is her career after all. I think she will cope very well and I hope too that they get a jive.

I haven't been on the thread for a while but I think Claudia and AJ are progressing nicely in the competition. She's an excellent student with strength and fitness for AJ to exploit. I think he's doing nicely as a pro with some good choreography. I see her making the final 5 at least and may be the last female standing.

I've not posted on this thread before, but just had to say I thought Claudia danced beautifully last night. I'm so glad the judges finally praised her footwork etc and it was noted on Len's Lens! I dont always feel they give them enough praise. And well done AJ choreographing a great routine to a completely usuitable song!

I have been paying a lot of attention to Claudia and AJ recently. AJ is gorgeous of course. Claudia seems to be a lovely girl and I have enjoyed their dances a lot. I also liked her kind words about Anastacia tonight. I haven't voted for them yet, but I will probably start next week.

Just catching up with strictly! I loved Claudia and Aj's dance! I thought they danced it fantastically even with the bizarre music choice and I loved the lifts! I think they will just keep getting better and better now

Can't wait to see what they're dancing next week!

It has been mentioned that they have a Paso this week. Apparently AJ has said on the radio this morning.

Hmmm Be interesting to see how they go with the paso.... I can't see it being awful, but I'm hoping they can build on their success of last week

Hmm, the Paso makes me a bit nervous tbh. Think the music choice will be very important so please get it right this time Strictly!
