Yeah its good to see more fans - they do seem to be growing in popularity and I think Claudia and AJ are really strong as a pair at the moment.

Heartening to see many people on the MF commenting they feel Claudia was under-marked tonight. I think it's one of those routines that when people watch it back they'll start to realise just how amazing she was once they've had a couple of viewings to get past the song choice and the pink dress. The producers did their best to make it saccharine but apart from the odd smile (bless her ) she was fearsome in that Paso!

As much as I wanted to hate it I have to agree It worked much better than I thought it would.

I enjoyed her dance tonight, I didn't actually agree with the judges ctitique esp Darcy, I thought her shaping was great!! And I would have preffered something more traditional music wise, Thought AJ did well to choreograph to that and I do wish they would stop putting them in pink!!!!

I agree with you about all the judges comments in as much as I disagree with their comments about Claudia's arm shaping etc and Len saying it was too hectic/too overpowering. What is he on
Craigs comment was spot on about the choreo I reckon.

There were similar moves in that dance to one I have seen AJ and Chloe dance in competition. Therefore AJ obviously had confidence in Claudia to be able to do it.

I'm hoping next week (if they get through) that they'll have a QS or a Jive as I can see them being great at these dances

De-lurking from the Jay & Aliona thread to say how much I've enjoyed Claudia and AJ's dancing the last couple of weeks. She's improving so much! Loved last nights dance and it's a real eye opener if you watch it with the sound off, gives you a real chance to enjoy the 'paso' attitude and moves without being too distracted by the song choice (don't get me wrong, I love the song, just not for a paso, despite how well AJ did with the choreo). Interestingly I thought the height difference was much less obvious in this dance, which was surprising as AJ was so upright throughout.

Have found it really hard to get into this year, but this couple have become the ones I look forward to watching dance each week! Looking forward to seeing them next week 💕

Popping in from the GG thread to say another big 'well done' to AJ and Claudia again for doing so well despite unsuitable music for the third week in a row. I've seen criticism of AJs choreography on the MF, but I think hes done brilliantly in choreographing to such unsuitable songs that don't do anything to assist the 'wow' factor of the dance. And Claudia too, for dancing so well. I really hope they're given some traditional music or at least music well suited to their style of dance next week, they more than deserve it. But on a positive note, they did really well - and Ioved their outfits too. They're a joy to watch and I find they're one of two couples i look forward to seeing the most.

I would pay good money to see that Paso danced to proper Paso music. It would be spectacular.

Claudia is the best dancer imho. Love her.

AJ says Claudia is gonna get dizzy and Claudia says AJ is gonna ramp it up a notch.
Their dances have been beautifully technical already so I wonder what he is thinking of fir tge choreography.

I was wondering about the VW choreography as it is basically 3 steps and natural and reverse turns (ooh I sounded all like Len then). Thinking of AJ's choreo I watched him and Chloe dance a VW in competition to traditional music. It was lovely. So I'm looking forward to it. But my goodness it was fast. I hope Claudia doesn't suffer with motion sickness.
She should be OK shouldn't she because she somersaults and spins in gymnastics. And she will be able to 'spot' during those spins.
Now it's all down to music and wardrobe. Anybody up for cornering Vicki Giggles??

But they were safe anyway

I'm sure they'll do a good VW... hopefully to some form of appropriate music, but I'm not holding my breath

Totally agree yohinnchild about the calling order and the new fans! Thank goodness I'd seen the spoiler. I guess it was just their turn to sweat it out.

Really looking forward to the VW. The spins shouldn't be a problem for Claudia as others have said. And yes - a beautiful dress and fantastic music please!!!

Just caught up on the results show! Poor Claudia and Aj having to wait right till the end to find out they were through! They looked as though they really thought they were in the dance off! Looking forward to seeing them on it takes two!
