Bwahahaha! Leslie has zero posture. The height difference between them is odd to say the least.

Dare I say, I think Lesley may be more suited to Latin

I'm surprised it hasn't been announced yet. Last year, each week's dances and music were announced every Thursday, weren't they?

Yeah that will probably happen the week off the show.

You're right! I keep thinking the show's about to start. Wishful thinking on my part!

I think since they did it on Tuesday last year on ITT it will be the Tuesday of the 1st live show so that would be the 20th I think?

Daisy & Aljaz's training clip is up. Looks like they might have waltz and cha-cha as first two dances, but I wouldn't want to leap to any conclusions.

The walks are definitely Cha Cha but there are bits of the clip that show them in hold. I'd say Cha Cha almost certain and then any kinda ballroom really for week 2.

Or it could just as easily be vice-versa.

I remember last year when Anita's First Steps video was released, and they showed her practising mostly Cha Cha with a bit of Waltz as well, then Cha Cha ended up being her Week 1 dance and she didn't do Waltz until Halloween. Based on the fact that it definitely looked like Aljaz was running through Waltz choreography on his own at one point (the bit where Daisy was grinning like a maniac at him ), I'd be shocked if she didn't have Waltz for Week 1, but I wouldn't take it for granted that she has Cha Cha as one of her first two dances at all.

Totally agree, as I was also thinking about Anita's clip from last year.

Assuming that is correct, it would probably leave one other female with the Waltz on week one (think it might be 3x Waltz, 2x Tango, 2x Cha Cha, 1x Jive; just like in 2013).

On the one hand a latin number in week 2 could really wow the audience (for instance Chelsee Healey), but it could leave you very low on the Judge leaderboard (only expect the ringers to start with a really decent score).

Have got an idea which video will be up today, but could just be that this person was misinformed (or talking about the first live show).

Do you have a quote/link if it's on catch-up anywhere? Could easily be a cha-cha, probably to an obvious song like "Jump" by Van Halen, "Jump They Say" or "Jump For My Love"...

He did also say about having to remember how to do the run up as he was almost going into a jive step - I did think cha cha until he said that. He was with gabby Logan, Denise Lewis and Colin Jackson and they were trying to get him to tell them his first dance. He wouldn't tell them but he did say what was in my first post (that was pretty much word for word) and the fact that he mentioned jive by name earlier makes me think he might have that, he didn't say the song had lots of jump references, just that the routine did.

Yes that's exactly the impression I got. Him mentioning jive then later commenting on how "fast" his dance was. He also mentioned having to hold one of his arms up during the routine he was practising.

I also thought he didn't seem too confident and made a couple of jokes about his dancing ability, but maybe he's just playing it down

Is it better to have the tricky Cha Cha Cha in week one (when you can do a bit of hiding), or later on (when you're a better dancer)?

I was at the city games today where Greg was jumping. I met Natalie, who was there as his plus one, and got a few pictures with her. She was just as lovely as she seems on the show and she appeared to be very down to earth and grateful for the fanbase that Stricyly has given her. Later on the big screen Greg mentioned something about his routine and implied that it was going to be a fun routine. I'm presuming this means that it's some kind of Latin and as some have already suggested this could be even more evidence that it's going to be the jive?

I would say week 1 - because if you're good enough to get to the final, you may get a chance to redo it. Or you have it as your free pass, as with practically all the other dances you have a better chance of getting 10s.
