If it helps anyone, I saw him on Twitter comment he's happy to be know as 'NK' ..
NK it is then! The media seemed to be split on whether or not to use or drop the 'N' at the front of his name when pronouncing.

Can't see Poch being as drastic as that but certainly an opportunity to include a number of the second string. I'd quite like to see Onomah as the middle of the three in an 'Alli' AM type role and put Carroll out left, because he does play wide. Agree, ideal game to give N'Koudou a chance to show us what he can do. Would be quite ironic if Janssen scored a couple!

Incidently Wimmer and CCV would be reversed in that line-up being left and right footed respectively
I do think Winks will definitely play and I hope he does. When he has got a start, for me, he's excelled in the CM role. Always moving the ball around and trying to push the play forward.

Onomah would be an interesting experiment in the number ten role though, I must agree there.

Just reading the evening rag and they have a totally second string except for Lamela starting. So it looks like you are very near the mark for the lineup tonight Jason.

Edit: paper wrong about Lamela and Dier starting!

Liverpool have suprisingly gone for a weak line up. Game on !

LFC team: Mignolet, Alexander-Arnold, Lucas, Klavan, Moreno, Stewart, Wijnaldum, Grujic, Ejaria, Origi, Sturridge

Subs: Karius, Clyne, Lovren, Can, Lallana, Mane, Ings

I pretty much got it spot on .

The only either/or was Lamela or Carroll, and it turned out to be Carroll. Clearly I should take over

Could be game on indeed looking at that Liverpool side though.

I'd guess the plan (unspoken, never to be talked of) might be to go 2-0 down and then shore up the defence so it's not a heavy defeat ..

Sturrdige on Wimmer just then: QED.

For the goal, Vorm clearly chose his teeth over the goal.

Onomah doing a Lamela and holding on to the ball too long.

Carrol is a waste of space. Much better to have Onomah in the 10 role. NK has been very disappointing, hasn't taken on the full back once. Otherwise not too disappointed.

yeah he's worked hard actually. but then the commentary summed it up quite well when they said he should start to be a bit more selfish and the goals might start coming - he'll hold the ball up and lay it off when he should probably be looking to turn and get a shot in. Kane would likely do just that and his goal return for the past few years proves it.

But again, all the work, all the possession and none of the chances. we've been solid throughout but nothing going forward .. again.

tbh, I'd love Jannsen to score, he completely deserves it. The lads are working their socks off. But, imo, we will lose by about two.

Yes NK has been poor. Had high hopes but nothing so far.

Hate to say it but Liverpool are going to win this comfortably without having to get out of 2nd gear. Their players have better footballing brains and are making the game look a lot easier than ours do.

We don't look like scoring.

Carroll looks terribly rusty. Onomah wasn't happy - his head not quite right, slightly better. NK not yet able to beat his man - at this second/third rate level.

Winks isn't far off first team level now. Very interesting to watch CCV.

God, I love Trippy on the ball.

They all look so comfortable in the systems. Excellent.
