I agree with you but when we don't even spend as much on strikers as the likes of Stoke(for example) it gets embarrassing
Though I am against paying silly money for players I think splashing the cash on a top striker is the one position I would fully support. We need to have a minimum of three forwards in the squad and more importantly (as others have said) we need a front man who can make chances for himself and is not solely reliant on service from the rest of the team.
But lets face it, nothing is going to sound "great". Whatever we get the chances are its going to sound a bit naff. It will always be White Hart Lane to me.

If they're already decent they're usually already at a top club ..
Crazy as it sounds, I have a feeling Sunderland will get something from todays game. Tricky away games for Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool too. Could be a good weekend for us.........if we do OUR job !
