I don't know, we are toothless enough at the moment. Janssen may not be scoring but at least he does try to stretch a defence with some runs, even if no one gives him the ball. My fear is without a recognised striker, that we will pass the ball to death outside the opposition area.

We have no ideas in attack whatsoever. This has nothing to do with needing a striker, what the team is crying out for is creativity.

We have been absolutely awful tonight. Can't say I'm looking forward to the NLD on Sunday at this rate.

Would you rather go out the champions league completely rather than yet another Europa league campaign

Regulars will know that I have harped on for ages about a lack of natural football nous within our squad. Tonight has shown yet again that we have too many key players who are not good enough to keep us at the highest levels. They are not big game players.
To see our game simply fall apart as easily as it does, as often as it does can only mean that the players lack that something that makes the difference at the highest level. To play the system Pochettino wants requires the attacking players to be constantly interchanging and finding space. Ours are too static and often too narrow. None of our fullbacks are productive enough and that's because they lack composure and the intelligence to know when to cross. Of course they are not helped by the lack of movement by the front 4 but even if they were, can anyone really say that Walker, Rose and Davies could pick them out? Tonight was not the first time Eriksen has gone missing in important games. Alli I can excuse because he's relatively inexperienced at this level. Sissoko well meh! As I said last time all I see is a Sunday league player and not one who would stand out there either. Is he ever going to show us anything other than his Newcastle form? Gooners must be rubbing their hands in anticipation of giving us a real drubbing this weekend! |

I have no idea how he got there but, in the end, Poch had all four new signings on the park, Dier out of position and Winks promoted from the Tuesday Cup. They played chess, we played draughts.
Three of the other experienced outfield players were defenders, so Deli was surrounded by the four newcomers: how on earth could that possibly work. God only knows Deli must hope H is fit soon. Sissoko is out of position and Walker doesn’t know what to do with him. Wanyama was marooned, Jannsen spends most of his time with his back to goal, we didn’t have a single player who can head the ball and no one takes a chance in the 6 yard box. It was like a game from Poch’s first season in charge, the early part. Not good. Not good at all. Another very wobbley Wembley effort from the manager. |

We are broken. Poch is a clown who has'nt got a fu*king clue what to do. This is AVB all over again, people just dont want to admit it. He has clearly lost the players. How can ALL our players look so sh*t under his management? How? One goal from open play in the last TEN hours of football. Is that some sort of record? People are finally seeing what I have been saying for a long time, and it brings no pleasure in saying that. Shameful.

Why is everyone going on about the NLD? Yes it's the derby, but our concerns at the moment go way beyond what happens in that game. We're about to be out of the Champions League, for example. We've not scored in open play in hours, for another.

Actually we look worse under Poch then under AVB. Poch looks like our very own Roberto Martínez. He cant change anything because he has'nt got a fu*king clue HOW to change it.
Oh well, thats the champions league over for at least a couple of years and the inevitable new manager. A lovely new stadium for our Europa League matches (at best) |

There doesn't seem to be any creativity from management or players. But, we are in the Champions League and not out yet. It's as good as it's been for a while. I am surprised dier said after that 'we want to be a top team'. They should already think of themselves as a top team. Maybe a good sports psychologist is required. |
