There's a good chance he will score with rose and walker getting up and down.

Good to see Eriksen has finally woken up this season.
Oh and walker going off. Let's hope we keep rhe shape and pace.

Well it was much better then the beating we all feared. We showed fight. We could have won it and we could have lost it, so a draw was,a fair result. How much it means in the bigger picture remains to be seen. Still no goals from open play where we must be on some sort of record now.

Great for Kane to get a goal on his return. Will no doubt play for England so thats more game time for sharpness. On a disappointing note, Janssen was horrific when he came on. Giving the ball away numerous times, poor challenges, straying offside and fluffing his golden late chance with the sort of mistimed wrong footed miss that sums him up at this level. Just not good enough and I dont think ever will be.

Yes, most definitely. I know it's another draw but it was a huge improvement over midweek. Although, to be fair, midweek was so terrible that anything would have done

Wimmer, for me, completely redeemed himself for his bit of bad luck.

If we can start turning these draws into wins, we'll definitely be up there, or thereabouts, in a few months time.

Will watch that again; Poch's set up was very interesting., plenty to absorb. Good shape. Big day for the manager.

Thank goodness H and Dembele were fit.

Another potential string to our bow. Hmm.

Same result as last season so we're a point behind last year vs. the same opposition.

Best point for me is that Poch came up with a different approach and so teams may not be able to step up by reading us so easily and playing us at our own game.

The good news is that we remain unbeaten, the bad news is that we are losing ground on the the top.

I think being unbeaten is a bit pointless when we have drawn more times then any other team in the league are below teams who have lost games. Chelsea have lost twice and are top. I know where I would rather be.

It almost makes you want to cop a loss to someone just to get the "unbeaten" angle out of the way really.

But then I suppose in the past, in this kind of form, we'd be losing all these games rather than coming away with a draw so at least that in itself is a good thing.

To state the obvious, 2 wins and a loss points wise, is better than 3 draws.

In two minds about this if he's really not fully ready. Perhaps start him on the bench....

Personally, I would rather Southgate had given him a pass this time due to him only just coming back, but I suppose if they use him sparingly and sensibly, the match time can only benefit us in the long run.

Well done guys on getting the draw when your team was a goal down. Your team showed character to comeback and it was a huge improvement on the horror showing against Bayer Levekusen

I think Tottenham looked a better side today when Kane and Dembele are fit. Especially Dembele whio is by far your best midfielder. And i think Tottenham definitely need to keep him fit if you want to win the title

Had to miss the game due to work commitments but felt a mixture of relief and satisfaction that the team obviously picked itself up and put in a better performance.

I've only seen the MOTD highlights but from the comments of Murphy and Shearer and the forum analyses I've read the change to 352 did enough to confound the Gooners for large parts of the game. However, I'm still concerned that we had to rely on another penalty to score. We desperately need more creative options in the final third, something which I hope will be addressed in January.

I think that's right; in the end Wenger actually did an excellent job of overcoming being totally blind-sided.

If people think a draw against that lot in rampant form, at their place with the injuries we had is something to question, you are off your heads. There's barely a team in world football who wouldn't have taken a point ahead of time.

Would probably have liked 4 points from Wet Bum and Bournemouth away, but hey ho at least we're not Citch.

Poch out!

Don't hold your breath. This has been the case for 4/5 windows but nothing ever happens except cut-price bargains.

Levy OUT.

I wonder how many teams in world football would take no wins or goals from open play in 7 matches too

I don't understand these cutt price bargain statements. I'm assuming they are aimed at our option to purchase Janssen for circa £17million rather than somebody else. Mike of LBuzzards, I think you mentioned it a few pages back actually.

So, who should we have gone for? What should we have spent?

Now before you answer (if you choose to do so) take into consideration that this player, based on the system we play with one up top, would likely play second fiddle to Kane as he's put away 20+ goals the last two seasons and is unlikely to be dropped for good reason.

Taking that into consideration are you still expecting Levy to go out and spend £30-40 million on a player
that will likely want wages of £60 to £100k per week (possibly even more) for this said player to then warm the bench?

Think about it.

Wages may have been a problem but we should have tried to buy Mane. He's good enough the play upfront in Kane's absence or to play in one of the other attacking positions alongside Kane. I would have much rather spent £30 million him than Sissoko and we'd still be £17 million up.
