Got a few suspensions for Sunday though. I think it'll be Vertonghen, Wanyama and Walker
If Toby has recovered from his virus we should be relatively ok though as I suspect the back four will be Trippier, Toby, Wimmer and Rose with Dier moving back to DM alongside Dembele. |

Wanyama isn't suspended.
Only Vertonghen, Walker, Rose and Dembele were booked last night. |

Fair enough, wasn't entirely sure.
I suspect Dier will continue at CB then, just alongside Toby if he's back. |

Interesting that Poch seems to be giving Sissoko game time now. Maybe the public kick up the backside has made him make the effort in training. Sissoko had a decent game last night and must surely understand now from the performances of his team mates around him, the contribution that is required for 90 mins.

Yeah i'd imagine he probably had a bit of an attitude about him and has realised that that needed to change. it'll be interesting to see what happens when lamela is fit though. For all his many annoyances, he's the archetypal poch player in that he'll run and press and work all game long, even if his tricks and flicks don't come off.
Will that win him a place back in the side at the expense of sissoko? |

Being reported on Twitter by GGFN that Wimmer has completed a loan back to FC Koln.

Not surprised about that in the slightest if true.
When Dier started to be picked over him to cover for Jan then that was really that. I'd like to think he'd come back but it's more likely he'll move permanently at the end of the season. I rate him. Always have. |

Will that win him a place back in the side at the expense of sissoko? He gives us a lot of options either starting or in game or from the bench. I've warmed to him now, I'm sure he's got a lot more to give us this season and could be the difference between top 5 or top 4. Would love to get Lamelastic back. What's happening with him? Last I heard he had some personal problems with his brother and was in Argentina. |

Could'nt watch yesterday so caught up with the game today. A great result and we certainly deserved to win, although I think we would all agree that the scoreline was "generous" and the sending off changed the game completely - if that was us we would have been spitting feathers over it. It was certainly not a walk in the park that the scoreline suggests - they were still in the game with 10 men and caused us lots of problems.
The big plus was Dele having his best game of the season and Rose again having a great game. Minus points were Verts being an idiot and worringly Kane has looked lost for large parts of our games in recent weeks, despite the goals. I guess the worrying thing would be that this clouds peoples judgement into thinking we dont need strengthening in Jan because we do. If we dont, I doubt we will score enough goals to get top 4. |

We will be worse off this season as Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal & Man Utd will turn up.
Our hard working-run lots-no style will count for what it has done every year preceding a galant 5th, or 4th if Man Utd don't improve. Pochettino has all the hallmarks of an also ran, he will NEVER win a trophy at Spurs. It's a pity he is the most unsackable manager levy has ever employed due to levy's previous bullet giving, some fans will not allow it. We are kidding ourselves, well some are, if this man is given messiah status for underachieving. 3rd in a 2 horse race. Glad to see there are some in here who are starting to see the cracks. Also this who do u bring in attitude is horrendous as lack of obvious alternative is not the basis on which to keep someone in a job!!! I know I will have to say a lot if I told u so's in a few yrs when the most unattractive football coming from an Argentinian manager is finally told to go. I will not cry for u pochettino!!!!!!! |

Verts and Walker are the only players suspended for the next game. It his hopeful that Toby will of shaken of his virus by then but Lamela is still out to mid Jan.

So blame me ![]() They are my honest and truthful opinions of the club I support. I have supported Spurs since 1985 and will support them till I die. Fans last longer than managers and players, chairmen and these days stadiums. When the managers gone I will be happy. Back to the spurs I love, playing the way we should, with excitement and classier players than the cart horses that cut up our pitch at the moment. Shame our best and our only world class player is in goal. Never have we had a more basic squad than now. Results are good, but no trophies will come whilst he is in charge. |

You're as much of a fan of Spurs as I am a fan of Arsenal. But this is the final, final time i'll ever respond to you though. Maybe you'll go in to one of the other fan threads and pretend to be a supporter of their club instead. Quote:

Been a few places saying we might be looking at Isco again next month. He turned us down in the summer saying he'd stay at Madrid and fight for his place, but he's only played twice since then so that might be a clear indication he's not going to feature for Zidane. |

We've had little success during your era of "support", and no continuity with managers under Levy, until now. 10-15-20 years ago we'd have been dreaming to think we could be fifth, and in with a chance of top four. Reality has to be considered, and we cant compete with the real big boys at this time, so to be where we are, with the players we have is great. |

You have to worry for N'koudou - his time with us looks doomed before he's even begun. He has'nt had a single minute of playing time in our last three home games against the relegation fodder of Swansea, Hull and Burnley or against the ten men of Southampton - if he's not going to play in those sort of games you wonder if Poch has written him off already.

You are talking crap mate- I have supported Spurs since 1970 and the current manager last season gave Spurs just their second run at the league in the 46 years I have supported them and for that he should be applauded
I cannot share the optimism of most on here. Maybe the way I have put my unhappiness has bewildered a few. I'm sure I'm not the only 1 who has doubts but maybe the only one who says it how I see it without holding back. Not looking for backup because my words seem a little harsh I know. Playing the long game on this. Maybe poch will be levys undoing. Straw camels back??? |
