Looks like Dele's agent is angling for another new contract. He's already signed two new deals in the space of 12 months so this is taking the piss a bit ..

Now that Harry has raised the threshold, expect all the players to be asking renegotiated contacts.

I can't see that happening at least until the end of this year, but even then it'll be a stretch because I think it sets a dangerous precedent if you keep bumping players wages every few months. You can only go so far doing that and when you stop, the players will undoubtedly not be very happy about it.

Anyway, huge game tonight. They're likely to be big favourites but I think we showed enough at the Bridge in the first half to show we can at least give them a go.

A win would obviously be fantastic as it would take us back to third until at least the 14th of Jan. You'd even have a potential scenario of 2nd by the 15th as well if we went on to beat West Brom and United put one over Liverpool as well, but baby steps and all that

I'll take a hard fought draw, but hope for a win.

I'm thinking that Chelsea's amazing run must come to an end soon and if any team can end it, we can.

Yeah i've read a few opinions that seem to think it could be tonight - not necessarily with a win though, but more with a draw so i'd certainly take that.

Chelsea will take some stopping if they do win and go 8 points clear though.

Liverpool and Arsenal both dropping points in games they were expected to win has to give us a boost also. The law of averages say that Chelsea will lose sooner rather then later so why not tonight. Not just the result but the performance tonight will be an indicator of where we are as a team.

I just really hope that we keep our discipline tonight. Chelsea will be out to wind us up and if we fall for it then I will be VERY hacked off at both the players concerned and the manager. Its not as if we dont know its coming.

I expect there will be a few robust tackles and a number of yellow cards given tonight. Just hope the ref doesn't let the game get too out of hand.

Just for future reference, our FA Cup tie is on BBC1 on Sunday and the game against West Brom is also on Sky Sports next Saturday as well so, that'll have been five games in a row that have been shown live on TV.

Intruiging line-up tonight ..

Lloris (C), Walker, Dier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Wanyama, Dembele, Eriksen, Dele, Kane

To me, it implies a 4-3-3

Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Rose at the back, Wanyama, Dembele and Dier in midfield with Eriksen, Dele and Kane up front.

it could, of course, be a 3-5-2 as well ..

Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Dier at the back. Wanyama, Dembele and Eriksen in the middle of the park with Rose and Walker as the wingbacks and Dele and Kane effectively up front.

deserve the lead i think. been solid and patient throughout. wasn't going to be a high scoring game with the two meanest defences in the league anyway but definitely think we're good for that goal

Hey Guys

Why is your team playing great when you know if you beat Chelsea then Arsenal will still have the record of Most consecutive wins in the Premier League

Indeed. I think him and Kane both suffered confidence issues from the euros embarrassment. He is over that now.

Super Alli

Need to remain compact and solid in defence. ...And keep our nerve!
