I would be happy to have SERIOUS run at the Europa League but for that to happen I would gladly lose on Sunday- there is NO WAY Tottenham have the resources to have an FA Cup and Europa League run as well as trying to get a top 4 finish
I will never subscribe to this notion that we have to be out of one of the cup competitions to ensure Champions League qualification.

We've got good cover all over the field for all positions apart from up front, to an extent, but then even Sonny has shown he can fill in in that position and come up with goals in a pinch so there's really no good reason why we can't give whatever competition we're in a proper go.

Agree with your points Jason I just feel that with Chelsea and Liverpool not in Europe the last thing Tottenham need is a fixture pile up. As mentioned I would love to see a cup won and its about time Spurs had a serious effort in the Europa but I would more than settle for a Europa victory and Fa Cup defeat this weekend

and top 4 of course

Can we all look at the lge table in may
and the honours list (basically who won what)
before we all start patting ourselves on the back.

If we're mentioned there at all I'll be surprised.

Can you see wanyama, winks & sissoko lifting trophies? Honestly?
You must be really fun at parties.

Talking about winning trophies, it just dawned on me that if we faill to win anything this season, it will be our longest trophyless run for over half a century. If we dont it will be ten years since we won a trophy and we have'nt gone that long since the ten year gap between the 51 and 61 titles. (God is it really 9 years since Woodgates winner !)

We should be going all out to win the FA cup so I hope its a strong(ish) side, but to be honest, with Villa certainly resting players too we could put out the under 18's and should beat them.

There are always some who will complain whatever we do.

Im the opposite, I would much rather win the FA cup then the Europa. 6 games to win the FA cup compared to 9 games in the Europa travelling all over Europe to god knows where, forcing us to play Sundays every week so always playing catch up. I've said many times that the Europa is the death of us getting top 4, let alone any (crazy) notion of an actual title challenge. I hugely want to win a trophy but out of the two it has to be the FA cup. Its a disgrace that we have'nt won it in over a quarter of a century.

I'm playing as Manager of Spurs in Fifa 17 in career mode and at this point of the league, Spurs have been first since November!

As a neutral, I believe Spurs are a better all-round team than Man City.

Don't be ashamed of who you are.
That's your parents' job.

Fair comment

looking at the Europa League the odds are against a long European trip judging by the teams left-maybe Turkey in the last 16. and yes its always playing catch up but its a BIG prize for the winner. The manager seems ambivalent to cup competitions and Tottenham have only had one decent cup run since his arrival-with a fortunate semi final draw in that competition...

hopefully either the FA Cup or Europa league will bear fruit............

Hey Guys

Why is your team playing great when you know if you beat Chelsea then Arsenal will still have the record of Most consecutive wins in the Premier League
Only until we win our next ten games.
