I assume that you ensured the Belling Lee adaptor had soldered plugs and was properly shielded (for Winston1's benefit).

LOL good point, I needed a longer cable, so I bought the first one for the length. I liked it so much that when I changed my AV unit I bought another 3 to match the first one, purely aesthetics, I know their performance is no better than say Amazon Basics, but they're literally a couple of quid more, I think the 2m one is £5.95 and the 3m was £7.99 or something like that.
