He's jealous of Kevin. That little argument between Karen and Ola happened years ago, that can't be the reason.

Just seen the front page of The Star on the press preview. Apparently he is saying that the winner has already been decided. I don't know who he has picked but I assume the Cliftons are involved.

His "alternative launch show commentary" was granted an article here on DS:

He must be exploding with happiness, bless him!

The good thing about this is that I'm not a huge fan of the the Cliftons (well, Karen to be honest - I quite like Jo and Kev) and was resigning myself to the likelihood of one of them winning, but James Jordan is making me actively want them to!

Just read James's tweets and it didn't seem to me as bad as all that - honest opinions but there was plenty of good to balance the bad. Met James and Ola at a dance once and (to my surprise) they were extremely nice and also very generous with their time. Think some of it is cartoon stuff for the tv and the rest is an openness and frankness that "some viewers may find distressing". Jo and Chloe are also lovely in person (as I suspect are most of the pros).

That said, some behind the scenes soap opera no doubt adds to the Strictly spice (and sells papers!)...

Oh dear the anti Jordan's Getalong Gang will not like your attempt at some balance to the situation but well done to you.

His comments were unprofessional and childish.

I've defended both Ola and James many times when they were on the show.

It does seem that they are becoming overly bitchy these days though.

I wish Pros who leave could just remain classy. The Bennetts, Waite, Cutlers, Dallerup. Vilani, Fortuna...they all moved on without causing a stink and having a go at anyone.

I feel sorry for them really.

James Jordan is a panto villain. I met him once and he was really nice so I believe he plays a fictional version of himself on twitter.

James Jordan strikes me as the sort who holds a grudge against someone and then extends this grudge to the persons family and then when he doesn't get retaliation extends this to anyone who has ever associated with the said person and then finally probably has issues with the persons pet
He is bizarre as he seems to take everything personal

According to that article Anton's predictable pairing was with one Lesley Jordan(sic).
(No relation??)

Can't get the editing staff.

I was wondering about Ola's 'tell all' book which hasn't had a mention since March.

I'm guessing that no publisher was interested in an attempt to take the glitter away from SCD.

He comes across like he's desperate to be famous still and so says what he thinks will get him coverage and get people talking about him. A lot of these 'controversial' people are - like they're screaming for attention. Bit tragic really but there you go.

Or March was just when they decided they were going to write a book in the first place and are presently working on it? Books take quite a lot of time and work.

The comments superficially don't look that bad and I really have defended him in the past as I've found his twitter feed quite insightful. I've also met him and I agree that he is very pleasant and approachable. It's just that the comments are used as a catalyst for unpleasant remarks from his followers. Now I do appreciate that he doesn't take ultimate responsibility for other people's behaviour, but it does read a bit like someone who lights the touchpaper and then slinks off.

For all that James Jordan may be, regarding BIB, he is not wrong...is he?

Tired, lazy and oh so predictable. I can't believe they pay people to come up with such rubbish...

Definitely did seem to be a bit like that yesterday when the Cliftons were getting trolled all day by followers who were @ him into the conversations but he was nowhere to be seen.
I think he is a nice guy at heart. I saw him on the Strictly tour a few years ago and he was lovely to a little disabled girl at the front. He spotted her when he was dancing and at the end brought Ola and a few others to meet her.
He is a bit stuck between a rock and a hard place, no tour,no real job,he has got to keep his name in the public eye to bring in some cash. Unfortunately they seem to be going down the tacky and nasty route to do this.

I know two people that have met him/them and they weren't impressed. One of them in particular was a fan and still is to a certain extent but on that occasion James and Ola weren't generous with their time even though all others were and their attitude left a lot to be desired.

They will continue to snipe and their defenders will continue to defend but it will get more and more difficult now that they're estranged from Strictly because they will stoop lower and lower to discredit the show whilst trying to push themselves into the limelight.
Others have managed to leave and remain dignified. Who would the Jordans be without Strictly? Nobodies! Who have they to thank for the exorbitant fees they charge for dancing lessons etc? Or for being invited to take part in CBB?
Can't they just shove off quietly like Darren and Lilia?

think James went quiet because quite a few notable people in the dance world commented on the trolling of the Cliftons yesterday - he has done himself more harm than good with the remarks he made

I wonder why James and Ola have not done a tour ?

There had been talk ( rumours ) about a tour, then Ola had her accident, so last year was obviously out of the question.
But why didnt they line something up for this year - or 2017. Surely they still have enough fans to make it a viable proposition

Robin managed to get a tour together, Robin. If he can manage it, what's stopping the Jordan's? 🤔 Arlene not so keen now?

Kevin has just tweeted this ( and I paraphrase ) "Show respect, even to people who don't deserve it. It is a reflection of your character, not theirs ".....
Good to see him rising above it, but with an obvious sting in the tail
