LOL

I am not a Latin and Ballroom expert Chris but I never felt there was much wrong with their dancing.
Also Ola in particular seemed to be able to get the best out of her partners by 'selling' whatever they had, if they weren't gifted in the dance department.
In James' case I would say his main problem was poor posture and compromised lines caused by the almighty chip on his shoulder.

If you mean The Cockney rhyming slang for that then yes he is the Brad Pitt of dancing ...

i don't think its a dislike against the Cliftons, he's an insider on the show so knows how it works and when he started gobbing off against BBC they didn't like it and got rid....... I for one always liked him. Yes he was cocky but he had personality.......... the show is a set up and if people don't think it is, then that's up to them.....
I also agree the lining up with contestants is more like a horrific dating show, and WTF was all that stupid gymnasts with Claudia all about, I hate her presenting and X pro would of been far more fitting, i cringe whenever she's on the screen to be honest.

You can work somewhere for ages and see all hear all but say nothing........ then when the times right you can 'out people for the farces they are' Kevin Cliftons a lovely guy but yes he's never been matched with any Anne Widecombes has he fgs ..........

Go James I'll still listen to your inside commentary and trust it far more than the judges who are paid to say what the directors want them to say or else they will be replaced

why cant you pull for the best dancer rather than who's miffed you off?

I can't stand Kims character in EE however if the actress is a good dancer i'll route for her, if she ends up a carbon copy of her screen character however then i wont

Thats the problem with this programme, it's not based on dancing its a popularity contest

You actually watch the show? May one ask why? You seem to despise and distrust everything about it, so why not watch another channel?

Nonsense. It's a mix of both. Although an unpopular dance duo (James and DVO) never won but a popular and mediocre dance due (Ola and Chris) have won. I suggest you stop watching and follow James and Ola's tweets SCD nights instead

It is what it was always envisaged to be - an entertainment show first and foremost

Him and Ola are such a tacky, desperate couple. I despise them both with a passion. Easily my most disliked pros ever to have appeared on this show.

What the hell did Kevin ever do to him to make him so nasty to him?”

Jordan got sacked for a big mouth....he didn't learn from that.

Sour grapes.

I never said anything about despising the show at all......... and id be stupid if i trusted everything i watched on tv............ I've watched it for the last 8 years + doesn't mean to say i have to agree with everything i see on it. Loved it when Brucie presented it. however I do find it very predictable yes, I think the judges speak alot of sense, yet i also think they speak alot of crap and have their favourites......................... HOWEVER forgetting that, I love watching the teamwork between the pros and celebs and seeing their hardwork rewarded (or slated depending on which way the judges got out of bed.....) I'm lucky enough to have sky so i could record another channel if i fancy it, however i do enjoy strictly so tend to stick to that channel

Someone comes on here having a pop at james jordan, so someone sticks up for him and its suggested they turn over the channel says it all really

The Jordans are now irrelevant regards Strictly. I don't know why it upsets people what they say as it is very easy to avoid him, especially if one cannot stand him. I disliked him on Strictly and detested him on BB but other than on here I really know nothing about what he is doing or saying and I like it that way.

Well from reading my facebook timeline and twitter he has done his own credibility more harm than good singling out the Cliftons on twitter. Loads of dance people have commented about it and because the trolls went for Shirley Ballas too not just in the UK either.

I didn't suggest you turned over. You can watch whatever you like. No skin of my nose. I just wondered from curiosity why, since you posted several posts in a row apparently slating most aspects of the show, you continued to watch it.

I was reading some awful tweets yesterday sent to Jo and Kevin, calling them atrocious dancers, I think the message went on the say something along the lines of "if you were decent dancers and knew what you were doing, you would be in a Broadway show or West End not pratting about on a TV show".

I think Jo replied " Well perhaps I had better give my medal back( gold medal for winning World Pro ballroom Showance) ....and perhaps you would like to come and see me on tour next year in Thoroughly Modern Millie"

What a dignified response, prior to blocking them.

Kev just replied that he had already done the Broadway, West End, Tour scene etc...my goodness there are so many sad individuals around.”

The same troll then went on to troll Shirley Ballas after she sent a tweet to Kevin telling him and he and Joanne are super stars - the troll questioned shirley's qualifcations implying she was crap too after that the troll was getting replies from DWTS fans - so those few words from James traveled a long way

I never liked james, too much of a big mouth.

In my opinion, the problem with the Cliftons Karen and Kevin is their extreme competitive edge and that they are clearly a pair of Brown Nosers, is that a bad thing?..I don't know. karen is always acting and overreacting and Kevin, who looked like a rocker in its burn the Floor days, turned himself into an over the top - glass wearing nerd when he got Strictly. they are over exposed by the Strictly producers and by Jason Gilkison.

Joanne is a just harmless individual that finds herself under karen and kevin's Cobra Embrace. she'd better get out and join the West End Crowd as soon as possible.

Nice people all around.

They are sound enougn daners - achievement wise think the highest they got was third in the British pro latin, There have been many British dancers who have been on the show who have achieved more, and Kevin won the British Am Latin 4 times and Jo the world Ballroom showdance - it is all sour grapes

Your post made me laugh so much. Love the Cobra Embrace! But surely Jo, like Kevin, was born into a Cobra Embrace ..?
