Yes definitely - I liked her voice and look forward to seeing what she does at bootcamp

Chanal has had a great reaction on You Tube with over 3k likes which is pretty good in less than two days.

I think that what ever she does in the show she has a good career ahead of her. She is very talented.

Paul Akister was his name. If I remember right he came back for a second stab at it all having lost weight and had a bit of a makeover etc. He had a great soul voice and that was his genre - so making him sing Meatloaf was ludicrous. When he looked uncomfortable on stage he was effectively told to stop being difficult and enjoy the wonderful opportunity he had been given.

Think he was voted out within a week. Waste of a talent.

Not sure what the relevance is between Paul Akaster and Chanal?

Wasn't really a fan - thought it was very average and not surprised it got montaged.

Spoiler

She didn't make it to Six Chairs

Just goes to show how clueless the panel are. I am sure he will have a good chance of getting signed anyway.

IMO, she has a good voice, but at this point, she has some bad habits and is imitating her favorites. That means she could really improve her chances at a career by developing her technique , learning to vary her vocal dynamics, and allow her natural tone to come through. I heard none of that and she seemed more focused on delivering her idea of a good vocal regardless of her voice's actual tendencies and qualities ( slightly affected ) l than on the content of the song. It came across as competent but stiff/uncomfortable and by the numbers, and that is what let down what she does have the vocal ability to have made a much more compelling performance.

TLDR: In my opinion, she has a good voice, but if a producer, I'd have sent her home
, while telling her to try again in a few years. She does have potential and the voice is there. She is still young . She could return in a couple of years and get further.

Good grief man - you were talking about the contestants not having much say in what kind of songs they were given to sing, so I brought up what happened to Paul and the other poster kindly responded.

Yes I agree and thank you for reminding me of his name. I thought he was treated shabbily.
