Superb dance from Ore. First two weeks he did not deliver but that was brilliant from a person with a non dance background.

Getting nasty in the main forum so thought I'd pop on over and say I gave my votes to Ore tonight. He's improving every week and he seems a genuinely lovely chap and values his partnership with Jo. I didn't think it was perfect, but Joanne is showcasing him marvelously and glad to see her choreography shining. Excited to see more, and hope at the very least they make it to Blackpool.

I am so glad that Ore is improving week on week. I really like him during the Olympics he seemed so natural so I .was a little sad that the first week or so he was not so good as I had hoped, but the improvement now - wow!
Loved the jive, but I have to say that I liked the story telling of Jay's |

I really loved that jive <3
; I was clapping without a dominant hand at the end- just as I was at the end of Danny's dance, possibly partly because it was just such a relief to me to have two really exciting dances to watch amidst so much meh.And -cards on the table- I was a major Jay-fan last year but I may well end up avoiding the forum if the MF turns this into "but we have to choose between Jay & Ore's jives!". Personally- I don't, and I don't want my pleasure in both dances to squeezed dry by over-analysis. I know discussion is what forums are there for, but I've a feeling I'll find it a bit wearying, especially with the added toxic mix of Clifton-critics. Ha! I say that now, but come Monday... ![]()

I'm a bit
that there are only 9 posts on here since Ore's score of 39 and yet at least 5 other series 14 App Threads have been busy. I guess Ore's going to have to rely on high scores from the judges to get him to the final rather than popular support then. Bummer

I'm catching up with ITT - holiday and vile cough got in the way. Off topic, but
I have to add how much I love Joe Varney and Laura and Aljaz and Daisy. So funny. I understand Laura is getting hate from the Joe Varney fanbase, shame...☹️ )As a GG thread member myself I can reiterate what Wicks & Dervla have said that the vast majority of us want to see Gio do well with Laura, though there are a couple of others who I like more this year, Ore & Jo being definitely one of them!! Sadly the twitter abuse towards Laura has been coming from a couple of Georgia's twitter fans, who seemingly can't let go & feel Gio & Laura are getting too close on ITT or something! ![]() I am as guilty as our next member of becoming way too involved in the GG romance while it was happening but it ended, Georgia has accepted it & couldn't have been more gracious & lovely about Laura & her Strictly 'journey' & I can't understand why some of her most vehement twitter followers who castigated others for comments made on social media (rightly so) about her should then decide to direct similar snide comments at Laura now!! It makes no sense & is absolutely the opposite of Georgia's own behaviour!! ANYWAY onto tonight & THAT jive!! I have no words to describe how happy that performance made me tonight!! Just love Jo & in Ore she has finally got someone she can work her magic on!! It's going to be a tough battle but how much would I love to see them win that glitterball come late december!!!! As an aside it was lovely to see Gio, Jo's regular dance partner & long term friend, fairly bouncing with excitement after their performance & giving her a congratulatory cuddle after the scores were announced!! |

Every time I watch it (how many already!) I love it more. It's the all out physical prowess of the thing and then the still moments. I love still moments. He really brings a lot of character to the dances, and he's not boring. Jo's choreography has been fab. Full of different energies within each routine. I love the details. The way even that little hand clap hit the beat.
Loved the fireman thingy but the last two dances go straight into my top five of the series so far, easily. First and second place. Claudia's Charleston would be in there too. |

I'm here but late to the party DD, as I was at work so had to watch Strictly on record, then onto Match of the Day, then post in my regular haunt, the GG thread, then finally over here!!

There's no point in comparing it to other jives because each one tells its own story and each has its own characterisation. I know Len threw down that comparison gauntlet, but then it's in his interest to whip up discussion to keep people talking, but I don't feel the need, and I'm sure Len couldn't give a toss once he'd said it. He's just there to bring the drama ![]() I also saw someone saying that Jo outdances Ore, which I found baffling, because a) where exactly? And if so, b) isn't she supposed to? And anyway she showcases his flicks at 1:20 when she leaves him to do them solo and literally stands back to admire him as he does them. Oh- and I loved Jo's dress. Less keen on Ore's top, but at least wardrobe have got over last year's godawful trousers with pockets and dressed him in the ideal dress trousers. Hubba hubba

I don't think the judges have done Ore any good with their reactions last night and it seems to be being taken out on Jo and Ore around the forum, which is a shame. |

Tour
I feel it is rather bummer that there is little chance of her being invited onto the tour this year as she has Millie to do on stage, so that puts Ore out of it also as I cant see them pairing him with someone else for the tour, its the chemistry (dancing) between the couple that you buy into and the magic they can make

such a shame re some of the stuff being posted on the MF re Jo and Ore - loved the routine and great to see a Jive akin to competition one, no boogie woogie, no RnR just full on jive
lovely little things I noticed too AJ's dad sitting behind Tess joining in with the tissues - Jo's mates around her in the Claudatorium Kev, Aljaz, Gio, Aj and Oti (who Jo is good friends with) all going wild at the marks - Danny and Oti will get their 10's and no doubt soon and I bet Ore and Jo will be just as pleased for them too |

Fantastic dance from Ore and Jo! We immediately rewound it and watched in again in my house. Sadly I think Len's comment might have done them more harm than good, from the reactions I've seen from some Jay fans. I wish he'd not made any comparison and just commented on it in itself. Quote:

This was posted on the MF, though I doubt it will satisfy anyone determined to do him down!

When Gio and AJ went if for a Jo group hug I cooed a little bit. such a lovely end to the show. I just wish the judges hadn't put 'that' out there because it just causes resentment in other fans. They're different animals, and I appreciated all the routines in their different ways. I see Ore has called out James Jordan on his little bitter crusade. It's a shame really as Joanne has nothing to do with that little grudge he still holds but whatever. EDIT Fridge beating me to it.

Quite fridgesoup. James Jordan is a tool of the highest order. He pisses me off with his FACT hashtag! I have no idea (and don't really care) whether Ore has done some dancing. He's certainly not a stage school DVO type either way.
Ore has tweeted this too, in praise of Jay. https://mobile.twitter.com/OreOduba/...58961457356800 |

Second week in a row Jo has pitched it just right and they both have got the absolute most they could and brought it out on the show.
It's very difficult to judge everything just right in terms of choreography and training, and Jo is doing that now, because she has a good measure of how much Ore is capable of leaning and producing on the night. Ore seems to be a fast learner and very reliable in delivering the performance. They have been in the zone the last 2 weeks. |

Well said Bendy. As I watched I turned to my viewing mates and said "this is like a competition jive wow". Joanne put some lovely little nuances as well, it wasn't just full pelt even though the energy was absolutly full on. I'm so impressed.

Just wanted to say how much I looovvvveed Ore and Jo's Jive last night, great chemistry, bang on the content and a thing of total joy that made me.
![]() ![]() a whole lot.Following on last week they are rapidly becoming my fave couple, in a year packed with some good couples. I really like Jo on ITT last year standing for Karen Hardy and enjoyed Ore's articulate commentary on the Olympics so that makes that I love their dancing even better. Not suprised the main forum has managed to kick off already, and James Jordan, I'm never suprised by the bitter little twitter tirades he comes out with - professional trolling perhaps ? (in absence of the 'roll-eyes', not really sure what this faceless little beige thing means, perhaps it represents James Jordan ?) And waving a big hello to Soupy, Noonester, Clarty and Wicks
