Voting en masse for Ore tonight. Getting really tired of seeing people acting like his dances are worse than they actually are. Not technically perfect, but that was a lovely rumba and he did well considering he's having to follow up the steaming pile of a salsa he had to dance last week.

Jo gave him a lot of rumba content and he did well with it. Praying he's not in the dance off, but not confident if 'the main' is to go by.

Made such a difference to have Jo's choreography back. I thought it was a fabulous dance, emotional and connected.

(The main has 'issues', I feel. I don't believe half of their reasons.)

I'll be voting hard this week too. They certainly do not deserve to be in the DO this week. The big worry is how memory works. Ed's thing coming immediately afterwards might make a rumba retreat somewhat in the audience's mind.

Wow I loved that Rumba, beautiful!

Will be voting for Ore & Jo, really want to see them dancing in the Tower Ballroom.
It's hard to make a rumba strong and connected instead of -- oh, I dunno, floaty, wafty, sex-facey... But their rumba was compelling. Good story-telling

Whewww thank the lords for a rumba that didn't send me cringing for the hills. Ore and Jo were thankfully never going to do 'sexy face, thrust for your life and then look like you've just been impailed on a spike' rumba so I really loved the quiet, emotional and sensual nature of the dance as opposed to something forced and frantic His arms were beautiful. Love that song as well, so can forgive Ore for looking as if he was wearing his pyjama top.

Have flung my votes so hoping they don't get lost in the Balls Madness - I'm ignoring the 'main' it winds me up too much at times and likely to ruin a semi-decent Sauvignon.

Watched it back... I'm completely in love with this dance, all the details and complex shifting moods. It felt like reading the book. And boy, does Ore move well. That bit where he's walking backwards? I would follow

Well done to Jo!!! ⭐️

The first time I watched their rumba I found it slightly dull in comparison to the rest of the high-impact dances, so -with that maths thread in mind about not splitting your vote for mid-table couples- I gave all 3 of my votes to OJO instead of sharing them out.

But when I went back to look at it again, I was surprised at how much I liked the subtlety of it, and how much Ore's arms have improved. But try as I might, I can't get past the fact that I've never thought much of the song, so doing a quiet dance to a dull song is a big ask for any couple, and they did well to get the votes. Ore's USP is his pep and energy, so at least the rumba is now safely out of the way.

Surely he's got the VW this week, given he's had 3 consecutive latins, and Greg has the QS and they need to have one more travelling dance to fill the Blackpool floor alongside the 5 other latins?

So Ore has been announced for the tour...

Really glad I will be able to see him perform, along with Daisy and Danny in particular.

Seeing as Jo will be in Throughly Modern Millie in January, she won't be on the SCD tour with him. Who do you think will dance with him instead?

I think possibly Karen, seeing as Kevin is (probably) dancing with Louise anyway.

Just wanted to say I LOVED the way Joanne explained the dance during the VT on Saturday. I normally skip through them (because of all the rubbish you normally get) but it was so refreshing to see actual training footage and Jo explaining the steps. MORE OF THIS BBC!

Hi guys thought I'd pop in.

LOVED that quickstep. Jo gave him some very difficult stuff and he did very well I thought dodgy theming and all. Jo has really done such a brilliant job this year with her choreography, I know many may disagree, but I dare say she's kept him in it as long as she has. I really love the partnership, she's lovely with him I feel.

As for the AT I thought showcased Jo and as a routine I really did quite like it I feel I need to rewatch it to see Ore's work.

No matter what happens, I think Ore can say he did himself proud I threw a few phone votes his way which I never do. Would love to see him in the final, but if not, he's been a part of some of my favourite routines this series, and I think he's a genuinely love guy that doesn't really cry as much as the show likes to make it seem like he does.

Me too Lucy. Yes, we get it that Craig is the "pantomime villan" but after the often wonderful, uplifting and complimentary feedback, I do get sick and tired of him bringing the dancers crashing back down to earth, because he HAS to lead with a negative. Ore has been nothing short of phenominal and had the most amount of work to do to get to such a high standard. Completely earned his Final place! (sorry rant over! )

It seems to have gone into overdrive, which being near the final now I suppose is only to be expected to get directed at some dancers who possibly pose a threat to winning.

I had been indifferent to who won - I really wanted a final with Ore, Danny and Claudia in it (two out of three ain't bad!) but after seeing the ridiculous abuse that Ore and Jo are taking for daring to upset the apple cart of some by scoring high, I REALLY hope they win next week.

He deserves it, and IDC, I thought he and Claudia were clearly the best two on the night so I think he deserved to be that high on the leaderboard.
