I thought the same about Len's Lens. The beeb laying out the four they want in the semis.

Oh my goodness I think that was possible the most emotional evening on Strictly so far.

Did anyone else see Oksana right at the end when Robert was talking about Ed? She was clearly upset and had shed a few years and the way she was just holding onto Robert was lovely. I think we've seen a vulnerability in them both tonight that was very touching.

And so .... Robert and Oksana are quarter finalists - hurrah!!!!

I loved Ed but equally have been fascinated by Rob!

I felt sadly that his low marks this week was slightly contrived!

They've had consistent marks lately to find them so low was sad !
Two of the other two couples had been the dance off before!
I really think Rob has done well especially as he has work commitments!
Will now transfer to Rob he seems to be a genuinely caring man who one or two have forged firm friendships with!
I don't mind who wins but I would prefer someone who has started off without much dance experience !

Yes, I noticed Okana's sadness too.

I think she gets a bit of unfair criticism for being stoic and hard to read, which I take just to be her reserved nature and her being unused to doing a show both off as well as on the dance floor.

Well, onward and upward. Hopefully they'll get a spectacular dance (AT?) and song for next week.

Here's the link to Robert on the Scott Mills show this afternoon:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4wF...ature=youtu.be

He doesn't say the dance, but he does say it's more upbeat than last week. Sounds like a Waltz possibly?

Ok so it's the Samba - another party latin!

Not sure what to think about this, but it's Oksana's favourite dance which is a good sign.

This evening's ITT was brilliant. Oksana shot to the top of the leaderboard in the Strictly Pro Challenge. I thought Robert and Oksana were the most animated and relaxed they've been for some time too. The interaction between them was lovely.

I have been lucky to win two tickets to the Strictly Live final unfortunately I can't attend that day. I would love to swop with the semi final the week before if possible. Please message. Here's hoping. Thank you.

Wow, that's amazing! It's worth posting this request on the main Strictly forum as it will be seen by a lot more people and you might just get lucky. Good luck!

Hello all. Busy week . Just caught up with all things Strictly

I've got mixed feelings about this week... By rights Robert should have ballroom but instead he's got his last available latin. On one hand this might be a good draw. He does upbeat very well. It seems to be who he is. On the other he might 've outscored several of the top 4 if he'd had a Waltz. Hey ho. I'll be rooting for our lovely couple as usual.

I have mixed feelings too Jean ... everyone seems to be saying that Robert and Oksana will be out next. But it doesn't have to be that way - they have a lot of support, and if everyone gets behind them and votes, it could save them from the dance off!

Fingers crossed sunshine

We may get them over the line with a little bit of help from Ed's fans.
Thank you Annabel for your vote. Any other Ed fans are very welcome to join us..

Hi all, I've been lurking a bit, but wanted to post. Judge and Oksana have been my faves since week 1 and they've had all my votes. Really want them to stay in! Please vote with all you've got, tonight!! They need every vote. The plotting and planning to get them out will be sadly obvious . But they can still get through somehow! Let's hope & multi vote

Hello both of you. Thanks for thinking of, or actually supporting Rob and Oksana. Really wishing them both well for tonight. It would be great to get them to the quarter finals.

Yes! Lots of positive thinking for tonight. It's going to be a fun, upbeat, party Samba. The brief shot of them in rehearsal on ITT yesterday showed that their samba rolls were looking good, and the amount of shimmying, kneework and general exuberance should play to Robert's strengths.

In a year of upsets in votes, nothing is a foregone conclusion, so we need to get voting and show our support tonight again!

I hope so! I think the only surprise for me this series is the way that three females - Daisy, Laura and Tameka - partnered with popular pros left so early but Danny, Louise and Ore getting this far is not surprising.

I'm looking forward to Rob's samba. Plays to his exuberance and joy.

Anita pulled off a quarter final miracle last year, but she had a magnificent song (and a sexily-clad Gleb giving it his all).

Hoping for the best tonight, but prepared for the relative dullness of Strictly come next week

I have been voting for Ed. He is no longer there so I voted for Robert - both non-dancers that have improved and obviously wanted to learn.

I really enjoyed Rob and Oksana tonight.

I don't mind the ringers, but it would be nice if an improver with a day job and a love of dance could get through, too.

Me too. Rob's natural exuberance and love of dance shone thru his Samba. Wonderful

I will miss both Judge Rinder and Oksana. I do think that Strictly is about people like Rob, who start dancing after little experience and find they are having a blast.

A very touching farewell speech from him too.

One of the bravest, loveliest, accepting the inevitable and still joyous departures we've ever seen on the show.

Judge Rinder has kept me in two minds all through. He's so darn clever and complex. But tonight was the loveliest he's ever been on the show.

Loved him!!
And will miss him.

Very touched to see Rob Rinder leave in such a dignified way, with a farewell speech that clearly came from his generous heart. He was the last celeb with a full-time job (Ore has taken a bit of leave during Strictly I think) but Rob never dwelled on how difficult it must have been to juggle both commitments.

I didn't know him before the show and was a bit skeptical at first, but he totally won me over. And was clearly a very popular man with the cast and crew. I will miss him next week.
