Annoying Jack and Frankie get a blink and you miss it shot whilst the new girl married to the Nightingale bloke seems to be on screen for ages.
They're a nice refresh but actually it all feels rather safe. Although it's a new interpretation there isn't a huge difference in style, or in the theme, to the old version and compared to previous changes, including the 2010 revamp, it's not that major really.
Great though they have persisted with opening titles though - when the character based ones launched nearly a decade ago I really did expect them to quickly tire of updating them and resort to just using a short sting as the opening, which is pretty much standard for many shows nowadays anyway.
P.S. Regarding the titles on On Demand being from the E4 airing on Friday. Do they now make the episode available on All4 straight after the E4 premiere - I know you used to have to wait for the C4 airing, but that is going back a few years now.
