Annoying Jack and Frankie get a blink and you miss it shot whilst the new girl married to the Nightingale bloke seems to be on screen for ages.

They're a nice refresh but actually it all feels rather safe. Although it's a new interpretation there isn't a huge difference in style, or in the theme, to the old version and compared to previous changes, including the 2010 revamp, it's not that major really.

Great though they have persisted with opening titles though - when the character based ones launched nearly a decade ago I really did expect them to quickly tire of updating them and resort to just using a short sting as the opening, which is pretty much standard for many shows nowadays anyway.


P.S. Regarding the titles on On Demand being from the E4 airing on Friday. Do they now make the episode available on All4 straight after the E4 premiere - I know you used to have to wait for the C4 airing, but that is going back a few years now.

I was suprised at Camerons cousin being in the titles as I thought she was just temporary

I quite like them. They are refreshing. They make the old ones seem more "cheesy".

I love them and it's the first time since 2010 that they've been updated.

But most of the other cast annoucements id say are just guest characters.

Soap titles are always naff. The previous titles were naff too, but at least most are smiling and not scowling like the previous ones. The worst ones were when everyone had to pose like they were models, so out of the three one's I've seen, this update is the best. It's still the best titles out of the soaps

I like them. A bit tongue-in cheek, nicely shot. Good to see the actual locations, and especially fun to see the nods to the previous titles (Sienna, the Osbournes) and the St Claire/McQueen family together! Good musical remix too.
All in all very upbeat and colourful.

Can anyone list the characters in order of appearance? I am curious to see who is new and who was dropped?
. The credits go by really fast. I can figure out most of them but others are kind of hard to distinguish. Any help would be appreciated.

I was hoping they'd have revamped the theme to change it up rather than just change the visuals.

Liked some, hated others. Nice to see JP & his parents together. Would of liked Tony to get the closing shot but if he is the King, Mercedes is Queen and also deserves it.

I didn't like them to be honest. I understand the effort that went into creating it but I find it boring and annoying, the music sounds a little weird too

I noticed Diane's in the new titles, is she definitely returning?

While I'm glad Kim is on them, I do think they are a hit and miss. I think Adam, Warren's, Neeta and Mac's edits are less cheesy than their old intros and are better now. I think these have been improved, but Sienna and Grace's are boring with the roses and throwing perfume. Could Hollyoaks not have done something different with Sienna and Grace
