Ross Kemp only ever comes back for short stints and probably wants to close the door on Grant. If he dies this week then he'll be a hero, save Phil with his liver, have a tragic reunion with his son, and allow his children to leave together and get to know each other. I'm more convinced following his wistful looks around the square - not unlike Peggy. Thoughts?

We know grant has another scene with Ian, can't see that happening before he goes off to get Ben and Jay so it's unlikely that he will get killed off.

Can't help thinking ben is at risk what with the scenes of the Mitchells being mixed in with Denise being adamant that she's not telling the father. What would make Denise tell Phil she's pregnant? Perhaps if he lost his only son....? Only speculating and hope ben isn't being killed off. I like this incarnation!

nah i Know that i made a thread about the theories but I did alot of thinking since then but i remember Harry reid did an interview with ds and he was asked about scenes with grant and Harry replied the he remember doing one scene where Grant and all the Mitchells were sitting at the dinner table talking happier times as far as I am concerned that scene didn't happen so Grant Lives

Yeah Grant is going to die. I sort of knew this as soon as I heard he was coming back. Reason been Phil needs help he is dying and Ross Kemp hardly appears on the show he is never coming back full time again but Steve McFadden is full time. They need to kill Grant off to give Phil his liver. But from what I saw last night if them 4 guys kill him that is so poor. Ben and Jay could of took them on probably, no idea how they got them in the van and locked Phil up seriously!?

Let's face it, he probably should die. I was a big fan, Grant used to have a little depth to go along with his thuggish ways but now he lost all that. All he does now is recite the lines for a few weeks, there is nothing there. Unless he came back and made a go of bringing grant back for at least 6 months there is little point in these appearances, apart from obvious ratings boost etc. Ross still looks the part though, I still believe grant could kick some Arse but he looks lost in there at times. It's sad to see in a way because grant was a top ten character in EE history to a lot of people.

Ross only came back this time because Barbara Windsor talked him into it. Ross is so busy a longer stint is unlikely. And like others have said Phil needs a liver his year is nearly up, be ironic actually, if Grants Liver got damaged/
