I think it's very unlikely Grant will be killed off. I can't help but think there will be some kind of twist though and Mark could end up getting beaten up or attacked. But Grant will be come out of this easily.

Something is bound to happen to Mark which will/could trigger Sharon and Ian to come clean to Grant. Surely EE will want the truth to come out with Grant back. It would be an opportunity wasted if they don't.

In the trailer for the week Grant is bullying Ian again so I suspect that happens after he saves Ben as he seemed to be going directly there from Phil's with his baseball bat.

So, it's unlikely Grant dies at the hands of a couple of cowboys who Grant in his prime would eat up all day.

I'm wondering if Phil will be carted off to hospital in urgent need of a liver transplant, and either Mark will be mortally injured so that his liver becomes available, or that he will volunteer to have himself tested as a live donor 'just in case.'

The fact that he is a match could bring his parentage into question.

I don't see grant being killed off and I definitely not by that joke of a gang. I'd love to see grant batter them but because some sad people will complain about the violence, we'll be lucky to get any. Probably someone calls the police and they're arrested before grant even has chance to get warmed up.

Grant could take them all on easily.

I really hope Grant doesn't get killed off, he is the best thing in it. I would rather they killed off Phil than Grant although I don't want either to die. That gang is a joke and I'm sure Grant could sort them out blindfolded!

If Mark does found out that Grant is his father and then they kill Grant off, it will be another pointless story, like when they killed off Danielle!

I think something will happen which will see the gang running off in fear and the gang leader is the only way left and is cornered by Grant with no where to run. I would like to see a suggestion of violence without actually showing anything such as Grant maybe pinning the leader up against a wall with his baseball bat and then he manages to flee when Grant gets distracted by Mark or something.

I will be stunned if Grant dies at the hands of that mob of wet weekends. I can believe Paul get beaten up by them and it going too far and him dying, since Paul was a gentle sort of chap. But even in his 50s Grant could still make the lot of them pee their pants and run home squealing to their mummies with one good hard stare. That one going through the Mitchell house with the weedy ringleader looked like he was on the verge of a nervous breakdown before they even pootled off in the mystery machine.

I'm sure we all had an image of what gang looked like and none of us thought boyband rejects. Was so disappointed. Also the way they took Ben and jay was ludicrous, as if you'd do it like that in broad daylight.

I thought after Friday's episode with all the banging and screams coming from downstairs, the thugs were proper heavies with leather jackets. Was a complete joke seeing that young lad coming up the stairs. Was like something out of a Harry Hill sketch

Wasn't helped by make up department also suffering cutbacks and only managing enough blood for a little graze and bloody nose for Ben and little cut above Phils eye.

God knows what happened to Jay though, just looks like cos he is Bens shadow he just agreed to get in the van with him for the ride, not a mark on him!

I think tonight is probably going to be one of the cringiest episodes in EE history, really not looking forward to how cliché everything is going to be.

Yea it could be really embarrassing especially for Ross Kemp. After seeing those so called villains last night, it's just ruined the storyline and can't really take it seriously anymore. If they were big stocky blokes with knives or even guns it would be far more gripping in the run up to tonight's episode.

I agree about Jay. He looked like he just hopped in the van for a ride with Ben. Would have expected Jay to be the one with the bloody nose or face as it was him who seemed to encourage Ben to go after the gang last week.

If EE do a stupid thing tonight and have Grant beaten up or attacked then I'll be really disappointed. It wouldn't surprise me after seeing Phil overcome last night and locked in the basement, that was so funny to watch these scenes, as if those little boys could push force someone as big as Phil into the basement like that

Grant of old would absolutely knock the hell out of these kids. Looking on You Tube EE used to be really quite violent back in the 1990's when Grant was around, regularly beating up people in the Queen Vic. Tonight we'll probably only see a few sharp threats from Grant's mouth and that will be it.

No-one needs to die for there to be liver donor:

Quote:
“What is living-donor liver transplantation?

Living-donor transplantation involves the removal of a portion of the donor's healthy liver for transplantation into a recipient in need. A family member or someone emotionally close to the recipient may volunteer to donate a portion of their healthy liver. This procedure is made possible by the liver's unique ability to regenerate. After transplantation, the partial livers of both the donor and recipient will grow and remodel to form complete organs.

Why is living-donor liver transplantation desirable?

Living donor liver transplantation has two major advantages over deceased-donor transplantation. First, there is an improved survival rate for the adult transplant recipients who received living-donor livers over deceased-donor livers.”

I'm happy Mark is still alive, which means maybe he will come back in a few months!

According to a paper Ross has said it could be the last time he's in EE. The new EP is looking to the future and doesn't think he's gonna be part of it. The new EP might not either if there are anymore eps like the last one.
