I would put that down to Bears dad, not Bear. Bear clearly loves his mum, that was the only time he showed any genuine emotion when talking about her.

Certainly, not knowing anything about them beyond what we've seen and read, I'd agree with that. She seems to adore Bear and he seems to adore her. We can't know if he was a pain in the arse child or a good one - probably a bit of both, par for the course with kids.

We do know what his Dad appears to be like from the video everybody saw, I doubt he's much fun to be married to.

she never goes out, I can't imagine that's 100% her choice, must be like living with a little bald tyrant

Bear did say during his interview with Emma that his dad "......wasn't around - well he was, but he wasn't, if you know what I mean......" So, would hazard a guess that Mr Bear Senior hasn't been the best of role models over the years.

I actually don't think Mrs Bear looks that good. She looks jaded and care worn.

If rumours are true, we will get to see what the whole Bear family is like. He is reportedly getting his own show, which shows him attempt to become a millionaire.

I'll give that a miss. I've read the book anyway. Goldilocks escapes.

Why would the agoraphobic mum agree to appear on the show?

There are always these rumours about people getting their own show and then they just turn up on an episode of Seven Days With.

poor downtrodden cow will only have a minor role, she'll be mostly locked in the kitchen and just pop out occasionally to manage a meek whisper about her plight, she'll be a bit like Richmond from the IT crowd

Bear's mum managed to get to the BB house for BOTs but I imagine a lot of the program, if it ever happens, will just be following him around and the odd shot of him at home, where Mum will be fine.

Also, if I recall Bear's mum manages to get out every Mother's Day. I don't want to appear bitchy but not sure it's 100% agoraphobia.

Exactly. You can be a recluse without being agorophobic.

Channel 5's broadcasting licence should be revoked for even thinking about giving those total nonentities a TV show.

Bear is a see you next Tuesday of the highest order and he needs to disappear, absolute t****r!

How do you know it's channel 5 who is offering him the show? It may well be MTV.

Yeah, I wouldn't have had her down for 63.

Where has this agoraphobia thing come from? I've seen it here but it hasn't been mentioned in any article I've seen or anywhere else.

I think she is more oldman-aphobic, if she wants to go out then she has to go with a little bald aggressive bloke

Yeah, kinda takes the shine off a night out if you have to spend the next day going back to apologise.

The mum looked terrified and sweaty when sitting in the front row at Bear's eviction.

I can't see him getting his own show...only rtv people who have are Joey Essex, Mark Wright, Sam Faiers (two episodes), Amy Childs (it was a flop) ...can't think of any others. Joey's show is the mose successful. Bear's usp of chaos and being a wum doesnt translate all that easily onto a stand alone show.

I dunno. I think he could pull off a show. A lot of people find him funny and charismatic. He'd probably be more likeable with the winding up toned down. I think it would be his level of fame that might hinder his chances rather than how he translates on a fly on the wall type show.

Also, curious so asking again. I think you said Mum was agoraphobic; where did you get this from?
