He is secretly in love with Marlon. Their love for star trek has made Pierce discover something about himself. But he knows Paddy is a threat as they are BFF's and Rhona is really his "beard"

I think so too, I don't think he has true feelings for Rhona at all. Plus what we've seen of him in other situations. The poker game, as a lawyer...he wants/needs to win. When he's on top, he's smug and satisfied. But what we haven't seen yet much is what happens when he loses at something...or at least haven't been privy to it so far, but there was definitely something Tess was driven away by in her marriage to him we haven't seen yet. But I still think Rhona is part of a plan to get back at his dead wife, to get back at Paddy, and to get back at Rakesh. There is no way he's satisfied his need for the upper hand just by 'dating' Rhona.

I think Peirce might go after Paddy, allowing Rhona to realise her true feelings lie with Paddy and not Peirce and she will save him.

After the "fight" between Peirce and Paddy last week I don't believe Paddy could rescue himself let alone Rhona.

Aren't we all?

Pierce is clearly batshit mental underneath that suave exterior, and is going to turn out to be really nasty.

Shame really, as he's super hot, but I'm still looking forward to it, as long as Paddy isn't the hero. That's just too lazy. Plus I hate him.

Couldn't hot Pierce be outed as unstable only after he's murdered Paddy? Please.

In terms of knowing, or thinking, that Paddy will be out of their lives for good.

Yes please I like Pierce and ideally wanted him to be genuine and marry Rhona managing to rub their love in Paddy's face all day and every day However clearly he's up to no good so I just hope it's a slow burner and we get to see Pierce for a very long time and we see him torturing Paddy for all of that time

I must say this story makes Rhona look rather pathetic. Her head was turned by Pierce very quickly and very easily and any wrong doing from him hasn't even crossed her mind. Now it looks like Paddy will have to rescue her it makes her seem like a complete wet blanket but she was always the clever grown up one when she was with Paddy so this doesn't actually make sense.

I suspect Pierce will reveal his true colours when he and Rhona return and find Paddy hasn't left.

Rhona acts like shes never done anything wrong in her marriage to Paddy. He stood by her when she was a full on druggie and wannabee lesbian

I would love to see a flashback episode where we have a one off episode glimpse into Pierce and Tess's marriage and get a chance to understand why Tess did play away from home and end up in the arms of Paddy. Sadly this will never happen.

It is a shame if they make Pierce a psycho just so Paddy can worm his way back in with Rhona.

I wish he would shave so that he looks a little less dark! I just don't trust him as the crushing of the wine glass was sheer rage.

I hope Paddy gets the chance to say "I told you so" when Rhona finds out what a git Piece is.

Agreed. I don't want Paddys redemption being saving Rhona from Pierce

Yep, this is pretty much it. Shame as I can't abide Paddy and have rather welcomed the past few months without his big passive-aggressive babyface all over the show.

Ooh me too - and he has some of the hallmarks - slick and smouldering, with just a hint of psycho at this stage. Seriously EE's Trevor Morgan used to give me the chills. I've never had quite the same penchant for gravy since he graced our screens!

Can't see Paddy and Chas back together as she told him last night she regards him as family. They are good friends though and Paddy was like a substitute father towards Aaron

o”

Me too. The only time I can stand him is his relationship with Chas and Aaron. He seems like a different character then. The rest f the time he's s a big petulant idiot.

Agreed. Pierce being a psycho does not mitigate paddy's behaviour at all

Yes when Marlon's starting to come across as a sane and rational human being, it's clear Paddy has issues! Agree with you about his relationship with Chas and Aaron - it's his one redeeming feature, and I don't know why they don't just pair him up with Chas again now. They seem to bring out the best in each other.

Yes, if he must stay, reunite him with Chas!
