I haven't much time to address that heh heh as you would say

Analysis centrals on the woes of Emmerdale at present.

1) All the good character/actors are off screen or on their holidays in the annual late summer Malaise that affects the show at this time every year

For instance the Belle storyline was criticised as outlandish but it features the best actors and without Belle we are left with Dull Dan, Kerry, Dross, James, Pete and Jimmy all the worst characters in the show.

2) When a donkey is the star and best character in the show then it has a problem

Where did a field of Donkeys come from anyway?

3) Sill Emmerdale putting James in a scene with a donkey, you know the Donkey will out act him every time.

4) Bit Late in the day to try and make James an interesting character isn't it, not fooling anybody

5) Any episode dominated by Duller than Dull dan is always going to be rubbish and dull.

6) Kerry reverting to her vile real self is so predictable

7) Break up Jimmy and Nicola, Nicola is an interesting character away from scene killer Jimmy

8) The Bumbling idiot is staying, why what does the Actor have on the production staff to keep him when no one missed him while he was away

9) Pete and Dross were mildly interesting but since when does their Taxi firm have 2 taxis' they could barely manage 1 a month or so again.

10) Bartons you are not going to make much money if you are only going to use the Taxi's to have sex in.

Ways How to Kill Paddy. Part 24)

Paddy is having a party in the Woolpack, present are Marlon, Ross, James, Kerry, Nicola, Jimmy Dull dan Aaron, Chas, Joanie and Zak, Victoria unfortunately left the gas oven on but there is a leak and the Pub explodes in a huge explosion everyone inside are killed

Part 25) Paddy in a Rhona missing drunkard rage steals a Steam roller and runs over Marlon and Aaron, followed by Kerry and Ross who are having sex in the Taxi, A police sharpshooter shoots Paddy to stop his rampage he is dead

Kerry wouldn't behave like that, don't care what you say. For some unknown unbelievable reason she genuinely loves Dull Dan and has been happy with him. When she found out he'd cheated on her her first reaction wouldn't be to practically beg first JimmehJerk then Dross to shag her. She'd be far too upset.

I don't normally but having both Moira and Kerry turn into sex crazed slappers last night showed how utterly devoid of imagination the storyliners have become, not to mention downright lazy. So yes, last night they did insult their viewers.

Kerry has always been a sex crazed slapper, and its hardly the first time Moira has turned to mush when am inappropriate man has come onto her.

Bah, that was ages ago when Kerry was down and out. DullDan's the one who can't keep it in his pants - remember Ali?

I quite like Dan as a character but all this "whoops! there go my trousers" routine on ED lately is spoiling characterisations when the scriptwriters have just got everyone swapping about

She wouldn't and that's the problem when affairs are the predominant go-to sls. It was only ever going to be a matter of time before they ran out of credible couples to pair up so now they just seem to pick 2 names out of a hat every week, instead of sitting down and thinking of new sls.


Yes it's got very old now. At the moment the slowly developing HotEvilPierce sl is the only thing with any complexity to it, along with Ashley's dementia. I can't wait to see how poor Laurel manages to cope with 30 year-old Gobbeh, Ash and a new baby all at the same time.

I think the reasons for Nico snogging Dan were pretty well explained. Not sure what people's problems are with it.
