Just posting here to say that I was sorry to see Daisy in the dance off. She seems to be a lovely person and behaved with great graciousness. I really enjoy her ballroom dancing, thought she did a nice rumba the other week and thought her Charleston was way better thsn bottom two. I hope she bounces back next week.

Comments from enthus-pro
A poster on the MF, who is evidently a dancer from their comments and who has chosen Daisy as one of the celebs s/he will focus on this year (this poster only ever picks those with dance ability btw, so big compliment to Daisy to be one of those chosen):
Daisy & Aljaz - nice to see the two show magicians at work and thought the choreography complemented the music. Thought the routine highlighted her long limbs and that she showed those assets well. Maybe just a hair late, but liked her mime handiwork feeling the streaking space around her as she added her own flavor, yet still kept up with Aljaz. Thought Aljaz made a nice effort to salvage the original ending routine with his squeezing hands and that they finished on an even crisper note in the dance off. |

ITT last night, Halloween Week
Gorgeous photo of Team HappyDayz on the ITT sofa with Greg and Natalie. Zoe begins by commenting that Daisy & Aljaz are wearing matching outfits . . . 'You dance together you start to look like each other.' ![]() On the Charleston . . . Daisy: 'I had one of the best weeks of my whole life. I have never giggled and smiled so much and it was just brilliant, I loved performing it . . . It was just that the results show was a little tough.' *Daisy laughing* On their 4 8s . . . Daisy: 'Craig gave us an 8!' Aljaz: 'Yesss! Love you Craig!' And the judges comments . . . Daisy: 'I was blown away by them and for Craig to be lovely to us . . . Everyone was really sweet. The energy levels . . . to be honest my body's never been through so much strain in my life ever *laughs*. It was a lot of moving.' Zoe compliments them on their timing. On the dance off . . . Daisy: 'On a dance that I loved but you know what it was all of my worst fears realised and actually weirdly it was the calmest I've ever been through a results show . . . It was almost like thank goodness I was calm.' Aljaz looks up to the ceiling: 'Yes! Thank you!' Daisy: 'Thanks angels!' . . . 'I was really genuinely pleased that I got another shot at dancing it because I was annoyed that I didn't make that last timing and then we just got to do it again.'Zoe asks Aljaz how he encouraged Daisy to prepare her for the dance off and whether he was scared himself because neither of them want to go home. Aljaz: 'Yeah of course you're scared but I always say to Daisy whenever we go on and perform 'It's just the two of us, we did exactly what we did in rehearsals, no more, if we didn't practise anything don't do it' ( ) . . . She did such a good job in the show and doing Charleston in the dance off, it's always tricky because you get to the parts of choreography where it's side by side . . . If you do Ballroom or Latin and something goes wrong there's always a way to fix it but Charleston, when you're standing next to each other, it's so exposing and so I was genuinely impressed that Daisy got through that without any mistakes. If anything she did it better than she did it on Saturday night.' Well said Aljaz and well done Daisy ![]() Zoe brings up the mixed emotions of being saved unanimously by the judges but it meaning Lesley going home. Daisy: 'It was so bittersweet, I just felt awful . . . She's been such an inspiration to all of us because regardless of her age she's been also working, up every morning at 5 am and then performing incredibly and being so enthusiastic, all with a big smile on her face. I'm just going to miss her so much, I was gutted. You feel like it's your fault because obviously it's you or them, it was horrible.' Zoe says Johnny was in the audience on Saturday and told her 'Daisy was really upset.' Awww. Supportive tweet from Jenny Eclair: 'Catching up on Strictly. I thought Daisy Lowe's dance was just utter joy - what a glorious performance #gleeful' Daisy is thrilled with this, says she loves her and because Jenny hadn't @ mentioned her in the tweet she hadn't seen it. 'That's amazing, thank you because I'm obsessed with her.' ![]() On their Halloween Paso Doble . . . Daisy: 'We've only had one day of training so far but it's lots of shaping, lots of resistance, you have to use your whole body, feet very strong . . . ' Aljaz interjects with 'Wow, look at that, nice!' Daisy: 'I listen to you!' ![]() Zoe asks about the Halloween characters they're playing. Aljaz: 'It's going to be hopefully a really good Paso Doble. I love doing a Paso, it's a strong, passionate dance, it's a perfect story between a man and a woman (was anyone else swooning at this point? ). It's a huge resemblance to a bullfight so there has to be a tension between me and Daisy the whole time. *Both giggle* Because Daisy is so sweet and . . . it's Daisy ( ).'Daisy giggles and interjects that she likes cuddles ha ha. Aljaz: 'Paso Doble is so strong so we need to put those two together and make a good dance of it.' Zoe says she's looking forward to seeing the fiery Senorita come out of Daisy. Aljaz: 'Me too!' ![]() Daisy giggling: 'I'm hoping being in the bottom two last week will help that.' Zoe encourages Daisy not to lose heart. Aljaz finishes the interview with 'Ole!' ![]() Daisy and Aljaz are dancing to the Santa Esmerelda version of 'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood.' Love their music choice and excited to see their Halloween Paso costumes. |

Thanks Ochre.
They were very sweet on ITT last night weren't they... Daisy seems to have a good grasp of how the Paso is meant to be. Hope she can dance it well on Saturday. Good Luck xx |

Good Luck xx ![]() I was struck by how happy and positive they were considering they'd just had the knock of being in the dance off. Love how interested Daisy is in learning the basis, technique and character of each dance. The Paso is a good opportunity for her to show a different kind of performance. Look forward to hearing your views after Saturday

I do like the way Daisy comes across on the show, and I abs loved her QS and thought quite well of her rumba, but that Charleston didn't quite come work for me. She was sometimes quite lumpy with her footwork, and although the hands & feet stuff at the start was appealingly quirky, I agreed with Camilla when she said that the matt black of their costumes made them disappear into the background. And although her hairstyle was pretty true to the 20s, it managed to make a stunning looking woman look awkward.

Ah. I missed that clip. Thank you. It looks quite promising for mid week .
What I like about Daisy is that she's a work in progress. It feels as if she's learning each week even if she doesn't always get it spot on. I think she'll blossom as she gains in confidence much like Abbey did after her D/O experience. Just want to say too that I'm enjoying this thread. It's interesting and informative

I just love Daisy - such a gorgeous girl and enjoying every moment !
These two are my favourite couple this year - and I have enjoyed all their dances including the Charleston which I thought was different and exciting. How they ended up in the DO I don't know - I guess everyone thought they were safe. I did and used my three on line votes for Anastacia and Gorka - won't make that mistake again. Fingers crossed for Saturday - at least the music sounds like a traditional paso which is a good start. |

I'm really enjoying everyone's contributions too jean
![]() Agree Sandy, I love the music and think the Paso is one of the best dances for Halloween Week. Aljaz was giving nothing away when Zoe asked him about their Halloween characters and costumes, he focused on talking about the character of the Paso as a dance in general. Will be looking out for any clues on Vicky's ITT section tonight! |

In Vicky's section on ITT tonight I'm sure they mentioned that Aljaz would possibly be wearing a red jacket with black trim - I'm expecting their outfits may be in a similar colour/style to those worn by Susanna & Kevin when they did their Paso.

![]() Thanks for posting Daisy's ITT interview. You're a most voted fan. Thought Daisy looked great in her black suit with trainer pumps. Aljaz was hilarious as Lady Gaga! He seems to relax into the programme more and more each year. |

Daisy doesn't seem to be hungry for the win, which is something that really endears her to me. She is just loving the experience and really appreciates learning something new, I think. I know the dancing world is competitive and pretty cutthroat but that attitude puts me right off celebs/pros on the show. I was a huge fan of Aliona, who seemed always to live and dance by the week rather than focus on endgame. Aljaz is the same: cool as a cucumber. Both great pros!
Based on Daisy's outlook and her natural ability she deserves to stay for the whole run of the season. If only the show still focussed on beginners blossoming into champions as much as showstopper performances from the off. The silly SCD-XF rivalry for ratings has really damaged the show's integrity, imo. I feel producers saw Jay's popularity last season and now think everyone just wants celebs with dance experience; they clearly have forgotten how humble and shy Jay was, personality and connection with pro is important too! This year voting feels a bit pointless, but I still voted six times for Daisy after her Charleston and will vote again this weekend, hoping for a better outcome

They are both going to look great and that version of the song will suit a traditional style Paso! They are concentrating in making Daisy look less soft and more powerful and that is exactly the right thing to do. Daisy also needs different facial expressions - she seems to have a default open-mouth expression for dancing, and she will need a determined, very purposeful and proud look for the Paso. She has a way to go for both of those things, but that is what Strictly is about - learning to be different in a specific way. Fingers crossed! (me - not Daisy! )

Daisy has the potential to be a very good dancer, but is soft, not very athletic, not competitive, likeable. Aljaz is teaching her the basics and working a lot on her technique, and taking it week by week. She has maybe the most potential for improvement of any of the celebs from the start to the finish of this Series - if she can stay in long enough. I do see some similarities to Jay and Aliona last Series. |

I can't decide if Aljaz looks more gorgeous dressed a la Gaga because he's wearing such a naughty look on his face
