I can't decide if Aljaz looks more gorgeous dressed a la Gaga because he's wearing such a naughty look on his face
![]() ![]() Aljaz did seem very at home in that outfit!

Another training clip shown on ITT last night which I thought looked even better than previous footage.
Brief backstage interview with Gethin towards the end of last night's episode. Daisy enjoying a luxurious Elstree breakfast of cereal in a mug ![]() On the Paso . . . Daisy: 'I'm excited to do it actually. I'm really excited to get dancing, get on that dancefloor and smash it out this week.' Gethin asks Aljaz whether the Paso, the cape or Daisy is winning. Aljaz: 'Daisy, always Daisy.' Daisy: 'Actually don't you kind of win, oh I win from the floor.' Aljaz: 'You win from the floor. I just decided I'm going to change the end of the dance.' ![]() Gethin asks Daisy about the family she will have in the studio audience this weekend. Daisy: 'I've got Grandma in this weekend. She comes every week to rehearsals every Thursday to see how the dance is looking, she also has been in the green room every weekend . . . She always said she would only come in the audience if I made it to Halloween and so we made it so she's in the audience this weekend!' ![]() Gethin asks what Daisy's Grandma thinks of Aljaz and brings up there being no lifts allowed in the Paso, has he put one in lol. Aljaz: 'No I didn't. Actually in our first Latin dance which was Cha Cha Cha obviously you can't do lifts but there was a little sort of a swooshy up from the floor moment and Len did pick up on it and out of all the people the one that was least impressed was her Grandma.' Daisy: 'I have to say my Grandma didn't want me partnered with Brendan because she said 'Oooh no you can't have that Brendan because he does illegal lifts . . . '' ![]() Aljaz laughing: 'So here I am doing illegal lifts!' Daisy: 'She really gave you a talking to during our Rumba as well didn't she.' Gethin says he's got to behave for Daisy's Grandma. Aljaz: 'I am now so no lifts I promise Grandma.' Better stick to your word Aljaz ![]() On Strictly Halloween night . . . Daisy: 'I am really looking forward to getting on the dancefloor tomorrow night. I can't wait. The Paso particularly is so strong and tough and I'm not great at being tough but I'm learning so . . . ' Aljaz: 'On Monday you were not but I think today you are.' ![]() Unbelievably excited to watch them tonight! |

Love the photos of D&A but flicking through others it made me laugh to see an ordinary looking Bruno amidst a sea of freaks! Loving Greg's look, as an aside.
Rooting for Daisy tonight. C'mon! Aljaz cannot exit two years in a row on a paso. |

I've voted for them and they definitely deserve to continue. Daisy lacked strength in her shaping but Aljaz gave her a fast and involved routine that I look forward to watching again - Helen's paid more than one watch so I suspect this will too. IF Daisy is unlucky to be in the DO thiis week it will be against Anastacia and there's no contest there. I hope for her confidence she is not in the DO.
Nervous wait. |

I felt for her. Daisy is one of the more, may be most, genuine celebs we've had on SCD. As you say Ochre, nervous wait ...

Yes me too Maggie, both her VT and reaction after the dance showed how much her confidence has been affected. I was even more impressed with the performance she gave considering that.
Nervous wait. but not sure if that paso was strong enough ....not her best, and she looked a bit 'down' at the end. Hope she can avoid the DO!! |

Youtube link to Daisy & Aljaz's Paso to 'Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood.' Beautiful shot from their Paso. Such mixed emotions tonight for me as I'm thrilled for Laura but worried for Daisy. |

Yes - Daisy does need to get fitter and be able to give some dances more power, but hopefully as the weeks go on, she will get that - if they stay in. I expected the band to deliver the music (which I thought was a great song) a bit better, but visually it was a great dance, and apart from not having enough attack at times, Daisy delivered a stylish and difficult Paso. They both looked the part and the choreography was very well tailored for Daisy by Aljaz. I thought the camerawork could have been better. I think they earned their place on the leader board.

I was surprised how good the Paso was. Nice shaping. Plenty of skirt wafting. That was pretty fierce for Daisy! Happy with the scores . When Craig gives an 8 you know that's a really good effort. I just hope they're safe. Very tempted to read the thread down below marked 'Spoiler' ... I guess you all read it .

Having watched the dance again I agree it's to do with fitness and stamina because Daisy starts really well in terms of shaping and then it loosens as the dance progresses. I think this dance suited her though as I forgot her height, length of leg etc. In fact, I think she did better than appeared to me initially. I hope she gets a bottom two bounce as she, like Ed Balls - of all people, is really learning.

Judges comments for Daisy & Aljaz's Halloween Paso Doble
Len: 'You did a step called the twist turn which I've seen in lots of routines on Strictly Come Dancing but I've never seen any girl be able to put the heel turns in because of the speed of it. That you captured which I was thought was very, very commendable. For me it was a little bit hit and miss. Some of the time I was thinking 'go on Daisy' because you were full of aggression, full of attack then you'd get to another bit and it would sort of just loosen out a bit and it just lacked a little bit of authority. Overall a really accomplished Paso Doble, well done.' Bruno: 'I'm sure there is plenty of life left in these two fascinating creatures. What I loved about this is the detail, you put so much Flamenco into it. Apart from what Len said it's something that we always look for, anyway I love to see, it's the true flavour of Spain. Of course the lady sometimes has to be a little bit coquettish and teasy and I love that. Hair and makeup, I have to say this is spot on Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico City, mesmerising. The choreography was great, you looked fantastic and I adored the dance.' Craig: 'I loved the amount of detail in the arms and the hands, you've gone to a lot of trouble with that, I could see that. There's a lot of detail, you're not entirely always leading with the wrist but that's a small thing. A little bit more hyperextension I think just to create a broader Spanish line but I really loved the dance, I thought it was great.' Darcey: 'You're bringing something else to your performance now, it's really lovely to see that dramatic, strong Daisy. I would only say that I could see a little bit more exaggeration in the body shapes. When you're tall you have to make a little bit more effort to create that shape because I could see you side on all the way through. But still a really nice rounded performance, well done.' Scores: 8, 8, 8, 9 Overall score of 33 I would have liked to see a second 9 but thought Daisy's overall position on the leaderboard was fair. |

I noticed when watching this tweet with the sound off, that the sound is weak, and Daisy's dancing looks sharper and more powerful without the music.

My new favourite training VT, how lovely was their joining Daisy's little sister Betty for her Halloween party. Betty's makeup was very good, she could have helped out the Strictly team

I can't view the video fatskia
![]() This is the original version the band were basing their version on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hwiCkU73NA Maybe Aljaz missed a trick at the end by not repeating his jump from 1:05?, but the choreography was very good, and suited Daisy. |
