Yes but again Apple will be out with their overpriced case for the gloss finish very shortly no doubt.

I;ve been a long time Apple lover but this keynote rather than make me want the iPhone 7 has made me realise what a money grabbing company they really are.
The case is just like the 3GS so why change more? I was going to upgrade but simply I can no longer afford to every year. I read a cheaper iPad is coming out next year ironic given they added £150 onto the price of the 9.7" model in a year.

This is the actual belkin product page ..

http://www.belkin.com/us/p/P-F8J198/

It was inevitable i suppose. obviously it looks a bit bulky, but i guess various companies will be looking to fine tune the idea.

The 25% price increase on popular watch bands is really pushing it. But thanks Brexiters!
you are welcome

Two adaptors plus a cable is going to be the norm for most people. Wow.

I'm also pissed off about the price increases, but having done the maths I've actually realised the increase is more to do with all the clever people who though Brexit was such a good idea.

Sterling is now down around 15%, the prices are up around 15%...

At least it helped me decide my 6s will do for now, and if I really feel like a new phone I'll look at buying a Galaxy S7 as their price is already dropping or maybe the new Galaxy Note AQ edition (aka Note 7) once they stop it acting like an IED.

I'm not that bothered, the apps I use I already have bought for both iOS and Android. I just prefer the music playing capabilities of the iPhone...

Did they mention if you can adjust the volume/change track on the Airpods without using the phone?

You double tap them and tell Siri what to do.

I never see people asking Siri to do anything. I've said 'Okay Google' a few times, just to test it.

Do people really use voice that much?

I agree. I've been using iPhone's for years now and I never, ever use Siri. I don't know anyone else who does either. In fact, I think the whole Siri feature is s bit stupid and Apple spend way too much time on it.

I use it to send texts hands free and also to set timers when I'm working and using both hands or working with dirty hands. Works well for both.

I have never owned an iPhone ever; I've always had Android phones. I fancy a change so will consider this.
These new iPhones are the best iPhones Apple has ever made, so there's never been a better time to jump on board the iOS train. Pure perfection awaits.

Oh for goodness sake, just let people like the products they want to like without feeling the need to villify them for it!

You might want to read his posts on Sky Q before you say that!

To be fair, I think it's less what he says, or his enthusiasm, it's the way he says it. It's like some cult-mantra-speak that's been tutored in a lab. Hilarious!

For the record, I'm an Android user with every intention of moving to iPhone next - so I have no pro or anti beef on either side...

I have no problem with Apple products we just need to get away from this God-like status their products have. Then we can have a rational and sensible debate.

For example, the iPhone 7 is essentially the only really well specced sub 5-inch phone now! For me that means it's a perfect size. Not many Android phones that small nowadays.

I can't say I'm that impressed with it - way too expensive, not that great looking (and i hate when the camera lense sticks out from the body so the phone won't lay flat), and WTF no headphone socket so you have to either mess about with extra adaptors (and risk damaging connectors) or use Apples own ones or buy their vastly over priced wireless ones ( i suppose they need to recoup what they wasted on buying Beats i suppose), on the plus side i do like the idea of loud built-in stereo speakers (like my HTC had 3 years ago). And before anyone starts, I have an iPhone SE and an iPad Air, so I'm not against Apple stuff, but I see nothing in the new phone that makes me want to 'upgrade' from the SE (especially as I have a self-set £400 limit on new phones, and refuse to buy them untill i can get them for under that figure).

So we will be sat on trains hearing people around us shouting "turn volume down" all the time .... Oh joy

Only time I've ever used "ok Google" has been in the very private confines of my car :O
