It used to be fun. The thing is Apple still using five years plan by Steve Jobs and they failed to come up with anything creative and innovative, but they are recycling Steves ideas. They upgrade a few minor things such as camera, and voila, a new IPhone/ IPad is born etc.

What they need is a really new and unique product people would be enthusiastic about having, and other companies would try to copy. When we have that, we'll know Apple is on the right track. Tim Cook hasn't brought anything new and revolutionary so far, he is just recycling old ideas, but customers are getting tired of it now. The idea to ditch the headphone jack will deter many from buying the new iPhone 7.

Speaking all this as a huge Apple fan. They have great hardware and software and great operating systems.

That gloss finish is going to be a nightmare for fingerprints.

They have implemented dual cameras as leaked and no headphone jack by the looks of it.

Those gold and rose gold ones looked like 6S - only a single camera.

Ah, only the 'plus' has two cameras. One is telephoto.

Single on the 7 and Dual on the 7 Plus (Wide and Telephoto) 12MP.

The camera looks good, but besides the hype I don't think it's THAT revolutionary. I like the real-time bokeh preview. And stereo speakers.. about time.

Ultimately, the new iPhone 7 and 7 plus look nice. They're sufficiently different that many people will feel compelled to upgrade, and there's not much else Apple could have done.

Lightning to 3.5mm adapter in the box with the iPhone 7.

The dongle for the headphones is included then, not a chargeable extra.

As expected no headphone jack. Lightning based. Dongle available.

Those AirPods are too close to the things from Doctor Who 10 years ago for my liking.

Well dongle is available by default which is good. No sold separately thing.

You didn't think they'd let you use them with non Apple products did you?

Wireless headphones. One more item you need to charge.

Damn, my lightning dongle has been the only thing that has set me apart for years. Has it ended yet. Is it just another phone with some stuff?

They look dumb without the wires and will easily be lost.

But, I can see what Apple is trying to do. It IS trying to offer more convenience and features (as well as locking people in to giving Apple a lot more money, of course).

They may look unusual now but I suspect in a few years wireless will be standard and anyone with wires will be the ones looking weird.

At the price they're likely to cost you won't lose them. You'll keep putting them in that case.

Said exact same thing to my sibling. As a result, they make me oddly uneasy

I'm a big fan of wireless headphones now. So much easier to walk about and be able to have your phone in your pocket without a cable poking out of them to damage. Be interesting to try the airpods. So, how much?

I'm always disappointed Apple haven't tried to take on Sony and Microsoft directly with console standard games on iOS.

This "best ever" "longest ever" talk annoys me. Of course it's going to be that. It's a new phone.

I'm sad the better camera only comes with the bigger plus. I wanted the two cameras in the smaller model.

Pricing will be interesting
