I find it extraordinary how bitter and jealous many people can be. What has this guy ever done to you?

Marco is a good bloke who is lucky enough to have been born into some money. He's enjoying his life, enjoying the money he has and having fun. He's a good man with a good heart and a great personality. He certainly doesn't deserve the media onslaught of scrutiny he is receiving.

I think this story is either completely false or massively blown out of proportion.”

- What rock have you been living under? Did you even watch during the short amount of time this kid was on BB? This has nothing to do with people being envious- it has everything to do with drug addled self-combustion in a spectacularly public way. This "story" is all too common amongst the offspring of "real" celebs. I'm sure that deep down inside, he is a good person, but the boy needs a massive wake-up call...unfortunately, it may be too late.

Is his father only famous in the UK? Even after googling him I've still never heard of him.

"Lucky enough to be born into some money." Tbh I think that's been his misfortune.

I feel desperately sorry for him. He's a truly sad case and very unhappy wee boy.

I hope he gets help and gets some love and meaning in his live because money it would seem has destroyed him.

As for the dog, thank god for staff because I very much doubt Marco will look after him. He just wanted him because someone else had him. I would say Marco is more familiar with 'bitter' than any of us commenting.

- I know of him because I watch cooking shows and I'm a foodie, but he is known as the grandfather of modern British cooking- Michelin stars, the whole bit. He's also known as the chef who made Gordon Ramsey cry (when Ramsey trained under him).

Before he was even evicted from the show, I had seen enough to know that he would end up in prison sooner or later. I even said it to a few people that he would. I thought it would be for a sex crime of some sort though.
He will have a lovely time in jail, considering he has the personality and face that other prisoners would never get tired of punching

Oh right, I wasn't aware he was 'known' outside of the UK.

- Oy vey. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I think he lost his passion a long time ago. He has just been trading on his name, ie, franchising, popping up on various reality cooking shows and performing his usual shtick. It must bug the living hell out of him that Ramsey has far surpassed him in the fame and fortune department

Indeed.......they can't stand each other and it's a classic case of the apprentice outstripping the master.

It does feel a bit like Gordon has sold his soul in his pursuit of fame though - does he actually even cook these days?

And MPW is so iconic - something that Gordon will never be, no matter how much cash he generates.

I really like Jamie and what he's trying to achieve.

Only in today's society could someone who is fundamentally a force for good be derided as a 'do-gooder' and when was it that we allowed the 'doing of good' to become an insult?

His kids are fine and they benefit from his wealth and switched-on parenting - that he cares so much about other people's children, who are not so fortunate, is subject to scorn.

I honestly don't get it.

I don't have an opinion on him personally, I just hate restaurant chains, I don't want the same bloody restaurant on every high street in London, they used to look different,

Yes, just the one although if he wants to shut down the Pie & Mash place and open another - he'll get no objections from me

Pie & Mash has to be the most tasteless, overrated, stodgy crud ever created and I can't understand why anyone would pay to eat it?!

Lack of palate probably
