She really, truly is. I don't think Ed would have made it so far with a different partner. He and Katya were the best pairing IMO. And to think, when they were paired up, I felt so sorry for her, on her first year, being lumbered with Ed. Just goes to show, you never know!

He danced some pretty good content – some of it was a bit awkward and a bit sticky, but like I keep saying, he has actually been improving. His shoulders were a bit up and hunched round, which was a shame because if he'd had those down then you could have said it was a pretty good tango – but that just made it look a little bit like he wasn't really in it properly. But it had a lot of content and I loved the character of it – it was funny! They were managing to be a bit silly but still allowing the dance to be a dance, which to my mind is great.

I think it's a shame for the show that he's gone now, because I think Strictly needs those kind of characters – even up to the final. I was kind of hoping he'd be there at the end and be challenging for the win.

I think a lot of those have been mine..... it never fails to put a smile on my face.

Daughter was feeling a bit down tonight so we watched the Ed Gangman Salsa then recreated it chaotically around the living room (not for the first time).

Thanks Ed and Katya for bringing extra fun to my life, 2016 was sorely needing it!
