I posted this on the MF earlier, but for anyone that hasn't seen it, this is Ed's take on SCD to date. Really good fun to read!

I do love Ed and Katya. She is so lovely with him and I hope they are in for a while longer. Looking forward to some cape wafting and a few "oles'"

I particularly loved the way Ed and Katya looked at each other when answering Zoe's questions. Neither of them spoke about the other as if they weren't there, they spoke TO each other about their experience.
THAT's what I call a connection - and a respectful one at that. (This came to mind after seeing Judge Rinder just turn his head toward Oksana and say "didn't we" or something like that and go on without waiting for her response. Plus he constantly used the royal "we" as in "we" made a lot of mistakes. )Guess it was the comparison that made me realize how lovely Ed and Katya's exchange was. |

Thanks for the link dancinggirl. Ed seemed to be very much liked by the ladies on Loose Women, didn't he?
I agree about Katya's choreography, katt. I am expecting a paso with proper steps but it should be entertaining. Yeah looking forward to the capework Georgeousgeorge. Hope he gets a bit less mincey when be struts around though ![]() I agree about the chemistry anothermi. Some of the photos and videos on their twitter feed shwo that too. They seem to have a very easy but respectful relationship. |

He really puts every effort into what he does. I just had to give him a vote and hope he will stay at least another week, though hopefully longer.

I voted for Ed I hope he is saved. The producers should allow Ed and Katya to dance without all the props. It's such a shame as this partnership is what SCD is about

Not one of Ed's best. The extreme shaping of paso doesn't really suit him. Never mind. I'm guessing his vote will be strong enough to get him through. Still want to see that jive!
This is more Katya related than Ed related, but someone posted this video of Neil and Katya on the results thread. It is a beautiful rumba and so thought people might want to take a look. Www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqUnuuxziLo |

Oh Ed........................
![]() ![]() I wonder if that theme was forced on Katya? And such awful music. If she'd just had to choreograph a straightforward paso he might have made a better fist of it - but I reckon he'll avoid the DO & get through this week. Do hope he gets another week or two at least - I really enjoy the early weeks when the honest to goodness triers/improvers provide such great entertainment.

Yes, a bit disappointed this week. He lost his way a few times, but I hope he stays around for another couple of weeks.

Shame that didn't go to plan. Katya's face [WHAT THE #&€% IS HAPPENING??!!!!!] was a picture throughout
. I thought they were stuffed by the music and the theming in any event, but also the paso just wasn't Ed's dance. Hope they stick around a bit longer. I'm loving these two. Katya's becoming my favourite pro

Bad night at the office for Ed! 🙈 On dancing he was clearly the worst on the night but I would hate them to go out on such a poor dance. He can do a lot better. Don't think the silly theme helped (though that was my complaint about the whole show last night).

I'm delighted they are through. I must confess more for Katya. She's lovely, a great addition to the show. Loved the routine she and Neil did to Madness on the results show

This was the hardest dance to watch but I loved Ed's quip to Claud when she said Ore's crying was catching: 'I wish we could catch his jive' (or however he phrased it).
