Surely they could have found someone just a LITTLE more similar looking?!
New Joel is tiny, bleached blonde and looks about 20. Other Joel was somewhat beefy, had longer brown hair and looked mid 20's nearly a decade ago.
They might as well have cast a 7ft Chinese actor.

It is a bit weird innit. Maybe the original guy didn't want to come back? Also, wasn't original Joel Glaswegian? This new guy definitely isn't.

Why nobody still doesn't suspect Nico? In Warren, Darren and Grace's scene I really thought someone at least mention Nico, but no.

Well I'm not too au fait with Scottish accents but it wouldn't surprise me if they've got the accent wrong!
After the amount of time he's been away I'm not surprised he's been recast but they definitely could have done a better job.
Although they've managed to bring back the original Amy and Barnsy back after all these years...

Oh okay I guess he's the dad then. I wasn't quite certain of the dates so I though Adam might be the father. It seems like the sort of unrealistic twist that HO would do.

Im guessing tomorrow, I think Nico will claim that Sienna did it and that she covered for her whicg will make Sienna realise that Nico is the murderer.

I thought totally the same thing.
Everyone on here seems to hate Duncan's acting, I thought he was OK. Is it bad that I was hoping he'd sing a bit of 'All rise' at one point?! 
Actually, surprisingly, I've really enjoyed the points of view week.
What I liked was that the show has been more character driven which has made it loads better. Having said that, I must admit that I thought today's Warren ep was the least interesting ep of the week for me!

There was a report that Nico would be in Hollyoaks until (at least) October.
My hunch is that Maxine will be arrested tomorrow but then new evidence proving Nico's guilt will emerge in October.

In answer to both your posts, I reckon developments will occur along the lines that Warren is the assumed father but the real father will be Adam. How often have [i]Who's the daddy? /I] storylines been done in soaps?
