That would be fantastic, much better than if they went for a Ste/Ryan/Amy triangle/affair storyline. Warren's scene with Ryan was nice and fraught, imagine how much moreso it would be if Warren knew Ryan was knocking off his son!

Would it have to be Ryan? I don't fancy either of them myself but, speaking objectively, I would have said the other police officer was a lot better-looking. Of course, there is also the fact that Joel is (or was) straight, but then he was also Glaswegian and now suddenly he's a Fifer.

Ryan and Warren would be nice. Ryan would bang up Amy and Sienna for planning and killing Patrick together, then he could bang Warren

As far as I'm concerned Joel is a different character now (looks completely different, sounds completely different, acts completely different) so I have no trouble with him being gay as they've already jumped the shark on the character.

I have a bit of a thing for Duncan James so for me, they would be hotter together than the other police officer. Plus Duncan seems to be playing him as bisexual so it's more likely to happen.

It's a pity DS Armstrong wasn't Amy's new fella as Andrew Hayden-Smith is a far better actor. As Armstrong isn't in the new credits, I'm guessing he won't stick around which is a shame as I don't really buy Amy and Ryan - especially after yesterday's performance!

I agree. He is a better actor and much more believable as a cop. I don't get how we are supposed to believe duncun from blue is lead detective. He's completely unconvincing in the role and i found his scenes so cringeworthy yesterday.

As for a potential Joel and Ryan relationship, on paper they look hot together and yesterday it did look like Ryan was going to snog his face off but I don't know if he flirting or it was bad acting. I do think the actor who plays Joel is promising but it's still too early for both of them.

I actually hope Ryan isn't gay. It just feels too cliched if he is and having nearly every gay guy going after Ste, yeah, no thanks.

It's got to the point where every time a new male character is introduced into Hollyoaks, people expect him to be gay. And that also goes for returning characters who were straight before.

I honestly thought him and Joel were going to kiss! Duncan oozes gay! Love him!

I don't think he's particularly camp. I just think he's a truly terrible actor.
