Alternative to the Hub 5?
I have pretty solid walls and the HH is in the hallway. You literally go down to around 50% WiFi signal if you're sat in the lounge next to the hall!
Is it worth going for the HH6? If not, what router is the top one for coverage at the moment? Thanks |

I have the same problem - I've tried various routers but the best solution I've found is to have a wireless access point in my sitting room (where my laptop is) connected to the router via homeplugs - I now have full speed.
If you can get a new Smart Hub from BT (free I think if you commit to a new 12 month contract) you can easily convert the HH5 to an access point. |

I ordered the Smart Hub from BT in the hope the WiFi is stronger.

If your previous HH was a 5 I doubt you'll see much difference - I didn't. If its a HH3 then possibly.

We went from a HH5 to HH6 and the difference is massive... Much stronger signal on Wi-Fi and faster Wi-Fi

The Smart Hub has filters built it which make the signal stronger and also more robust. Arguably its the best ISP supplied router on the market right now. |
