oh, I don't think I have seen Cleo yet
Sorry. She's the younger more level headed one.

Where are you up to again? Because 2015 for the most part is dross.

The show has only really picked up its pace in 2016. You'll meet the nightingales who are a breath of fresh air. The Donovan brothers, not so much. 😶

In terms of stories, you've still got the killer plots that need tying up and don't get me wrong there is still some rubbish you've got to wade though but what I've noticed is that there is a greater cohesion of characters and the writers have managed to develope relationships and friendships you actually care for. I don't want to spoil anything you havent seen but I find lately there is a greater focus on characters and thier stories.

Well all the new characters are absolutely atrocious so I see no need to get to know them as hopefully a new producer will be along soon and they will be axed.
Its good to see Amy back though. Personally ide rather they just reboot the show back to 2011 so we can forget the whole sorry past 5 years ever happened
BIB - I would agree for the most part. The exceptions for me would be Mrs St Claire and, to a lesser extent, Jade. Nathan is not too terrible, just a bit dull.

I'm watching August of 2016, so I've missed out on the rubbish parts hopefully

I know what you mean, I actually enjoy watching some of these characters and the storylines don't always go the route that I expect

You've started at the right time then. Half the roscoes are gone (they were overkill at one point) and that ridiculous gloved killer plot is finally over. The best story of last year was probably cleo's abuse plot but that was about it.

This year you can really tell that they trying to take the show into a new era and for me, it is working. I find myself wanting to watch the next episode and the bulk of the characters are decent imo.

It's gotten much better since Lindsey was Silas-ed. Birkwood seems to have stopped killing a character every couple of weeks.

Having some good dependable actors like David Easter or Karl Collins for example and having Nicole Barber-Lane back full time has helped as well. I'm also loving how Warren is being written this time around.

Celine and Cleo are sisters, their mum was Myra's sister who called Renee.

I think the Nightingales are good for the show, a split family unit where the mother and eldest son were separated because the father had an affair resulting in the youngest
Other than the parents they are all good actors and flawed characters

Grace's brothers are horrid but they may tone down over time

Kim is a decent addition, very messed up lonely character

Oh yeah, I have only seen Freddie and Joe so far, so that's better. I am also glad to hear that they finished the gloved hand killer storyline because I didn't like Lindsey

Somehow I missed hearing what happened to Lindsey, that's good to know! Myra and Warren help to bring some familiarity as they remind me of the years when I watched Hollyoaks more

That reaction is perfectly normal, hes the child of Rylan and the Tango man
No one knows why he speaks like that, I assume including the writers
JP is very far from OK when hes near Scott, luckily for him he has a knight in a well fitted suit to save him, sadly hes to scared to be with a sexy lawyer and would rather be with Tango boy
I find if you forward through Scott bits its better unless hes being insulted

Did you ever see Big Brother's Bit on the Side when Rylan was hosting and the 'actor' who plays Scott was on the panel? It was like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, except not funny or intelligent.

Yeah, I think I'll do that for any more episodes he's in. I can't understand what JP is thinking, James seems cool and at least he isn't orange

James is very very broken though, so JPs perfect man, scared of commitment and going to run a mile when after 3 minutes JP declares he loves him

Scott was brought in as a strange kidnapper and poisoner then when fog horn was sacked and diane left to have a baby he didnt have a purpose, and its pretty hated so they paired him with JP to make us like him, and make JP be the bad guy, so we felt sorry for scott, but we all started shipping JP and James and wanted scott gone even more

Scott is horrific

Oh yes JPs dad turned out to be a woman, who was a man but had a sex change, he was a 1 night stand when Myra had broken up with her bf

Freddie is appalling, you'll probably see him on here referred to as "" for obvious reasons

Luckily you missed the rest of the family, and many other terrible characters too

Also, I'm not sure what site you're using to catch up, but www.youpak.com is a great site. It's a mirror of YouTube that's region free, and there's plenty of episodes, past and present

I'm loving Warren's return. Amy has returned a few weeks ago with DuncanFromBlue (Ryan) so you haven't missed much from her yet.

I wouldn't bother. Unless you're a really big fan of orange.
