Police officer: we aren't doing a television appeal at this point
Lisa : why not?
Police officer: because we're waiting for your daughter to turn up as a corpse which will make better telly and give us more viewer ratings!

James
He will be chopped liver if Emma finds out. Or Cain.
Emma? For sure!

Snoop Cainy Cain? After shagging his cousin (yet again) he has no room to talk.

Besides, James could stop Cain in his tracks by piling up his collection of Woman's Realm and signed Elaine Paige tour programmes, and holding a lighter over it.

Would they do TV appeals for a missing adult?

Dross came in to help James, but James had already managed to pile up the magsand set fire to them by the time Dross' nose preceded the rest of him into the room

I don't think she's 18 until Christmas Day, but with her having mental health issues as well I imagine they might do.

I thought you had to be found in in bits on Hampstead Heath before they did TV appeals

Well that would certainly help, yes.

Actually I remember reading not long ago the main reason the police do them is so they can have profilers/psychologists studying the family making the appeal, (since they so often turn out to be the murderers).

There was also the song that cured racism forever, 'Ebony & Ivory'.

Once people realised that there were two colours of key on a piano, and that both colours could be played together, worldwide harmony amongst the races broke out overnight.

Kids must wonder what 'racism' is today?

As Frankie Boyle says ' Andy Murray's s not miserable. He's s just a scottish guy who can't t have chips'

Poor Rakesh, he's s the walking epitome of making your own bed and lying in it.
Frankie Boyle: "Remember when Mel Gibson got the part of William Wallace for Braveheart? Everyone was saying 'Mel Gibson? Playing a Scotsman? That's not gonna work!'. But look at him now: An alcoholic racist."

I was often found in bits on the heath by first light.

I knew how the captain of the Concordia felt as often I was left lying scuppered on a rockery, with a huge gash

Yeah I remember they did that with the woman who killed her boyfriend and claimed it was road rage, and the Philpots as well, I think.
