Betting the story line ends up with Kerry pregnant with Ross baby

But she won't know wether it's Ross' or Dans leading to a tedious "Who's the daddy?" plot.

No she will be pregnant with twins, one will be Ross' and one will be Dan's

I seriously hope that, having just done a who's the daddy that we won't get this.
I don't think this is meant to be a long term thing - it's not like Dan or Kerry are considered important enough characters to carry a long term storyline.

I hope not, OP.

But I wouldn't be surprised if it happens.

I really hope this doesn't happen especially given the whole Moses thing with Ross /Charity

What did I say months ago, Kerry pregnant, now I thought Dan had had the snip so must be Ross' baby

Not another bl**dy pregnancy plot.

Yes, a storyline I'm bored with before it's even started.

Jimmy is the who who had a vasectomy.

Dan was clearly perfectly fertile when Ali & Ruby were using him as their sperm donor when Ruby was trying to get herself pregnant.

of course, that is right he was sperm donor - I thought as Ross has one child in the village they will make this one his too, hope not Kerry and Dan should be happy and then sail off into the sunset never to return

Ross already has Moses and when Michael Parr returns from climbing Everest Ross will probably be paired with someone else so I doubt they would tie him down again.

Emmerdale has constant affairs, it's just a complete joke.

To be fair, most soaps do. It's always been an essential ingredient. In this case, it was a one day stand.

It is beyond ridiculous that everyone jumps in and out of back seats with eachother. This is a tiny village with a factory and a manor house on the outskirts.

The manor house should have cleaning staff, but apparently doesn't, so who cleans it?

The factory just doesn't have the villagers working in it, there are others also, why not bring one of these background actors to the front and get them in the backseat for once.

And as if Jai would have asked Kerry to go and smooze at one of his client's shindigs, she's an embarrassment.

I think the scan will show she is gone further than twelve weeks so the baby could be Dan's. Yes I agree do we really need another pregnancy, who is the dad story line.

Emmerdale is completely overrun with kids, affairs and stunts. It doesn't seem to be able to do anything else, really. Proper, human stories like Ashley's dementia happen once in a blue moon.

I think the manor house does have cleaning staff but we just don't see them - the more people on screen, the more money has to be paid.

You beat me to this! I am so sick of silly stories which aren't funny and find I am using the fast forward button more than ever. I liked the Moira/Cain pairing and was thankful there would be no baby story but that's been spoiledand now Kerry, who was slightly improving by not being in every episode, is now going to be front-line and so is Ross.

Yeah, absolutely. I've watched Emmerdale on and off for years but stopped watching about six months ago. Sadly I can't see myself ever watching again.

On another thread someone suggested that Kerry could have complications due to her diabetes and lifestyle. That would be far more interesting than another ' Who's s the Daddy' story.

I agree with those who are saying there are way too many young children/ baby related stories.

I'd be really interested to see a story line about how diabetes affects pregnancy. Laura Norton is a great actress and I think she'd handle it well. Dan is such a lovely, kind, caring bloke - I'd love to see how he handled it.

I agree re: kids. I just wish some the annoying kids would disappear, eg April and Amelia.

I' ve really got to like Dan since we started seeing a more serious side to him, and this could be a good opportunity to see a more reflective Kerry, as she has to alter her lifestyle and take more care of herself.

Something else has just occurred
Spoiler
if Joanie is killed in the October events, Kerry and Dan might not be able to take on Kyle, so Cain will get him. Is Kerry's s pregnancy a plot device?
